Re: No Power / No Component Video

Looking for some help in reviving my two old RevB HD1000. They were put away when I setup SONOS for music, and MacMini Server [PLEX] for watching, recording and decoding vids. However I've just put up an 42' old Plasma and 32' LCD to use as picture frames and wanted to get the units up and running a...

Best one that I've seen is Thecus 5200 series. Great for Slimroku and MPlay as it is a server, will run Slimserver and dont need a PC runnung. However if price is a problem then this might be out of reach. Have used Dlink DNS-300 (cheaper option) for some time but require your PC to run Slimserver. ...

No slimserver can not be installed directly on SC101. As a NAS SC101 is a big disapointment from netgear. It requires its own software installed on PC to operate, therefore PC must be running to access the NAS. Really just a glorified external HD. Try D-link DNS-300, can expand it up to a Tera very ...

I've got no trouble on my desktop (XP), everything seems to be working fine. Roku PB wont find the share automaticaly. BUT when I add a...

MPLAY -PAL

Excuse my ignorance :? , I've just realised all I needed to do was set my PB to PAL1080i. I wish I had of noticed that before those hours of stuffing around. That is going to make everything so easy. Using DVD shrink and MPLAY is going to be the best now. Any hints people have on good compression %....

MPLAY -PAL

I'm currently ripping my DVD collection. Unfortunatly there in PAL and Mplay has that jittering problem. VLC seem to fix the Prob (as per MPLAY site), but I'm wondering if I should keep or delete my .VOB files. Do you think MPLAY will support PAL later, or is it just a waste of space. .ts is working...
