Any idea of when a new release might be available?

I really want to try out Myth 0.19 (mostly for the faster channel changing).

I have 3 other myth frontends running besides the Roku and really want to upgrade the whole system.

Thanks,

Craig L.

Wait message?

Is there any way to add a "please wait - loading" type screen when Viper launches? My wife gets screamingly frustrated when she launches viper a few extra times because she doesn't know if the button press worked or not. It takes about 7-10 seconds to start Viper and it gives no idication that anyth...

audio track recall not working in 3.5?

Howdy, I downloaded and installed the 3.5 release from the link but it still doesn't seem to remember what audio track I last used. Was there a second release with this fix or did you overwrite the first 3.5 release with the same file name when you patched it? I didn't see a second link anywhere whe...

saving last audio channel?

Before I download and update I was just wondering if you are now saving the audio channel that a file was last viewed with. I don't see nay other features that make it worth downloading for me. I have several movies that I love to watch but have to change the audio every time I restart watching them...

Is there a way to specify the default screen size? I have to hit rotate 5 times every time I start a show to get to 4:3. It sure would be nice if it remembered the last setting I used....

I tried it out last night and it works great! Thanks so much!! As for key mappings, could the default be specified command line, or remember your last setting? For me, and I'm guessing most people, I will use the same key mapping 95% of the time and would like to specify the default key mapping so I...

Could I make one more small suggestion? Could you make rewind toggle firefox mode and fast forward toggle mythtv mode? Discrete keys make it possible to write scripts for automation, otherwise the state is indeterminate. (gotta make it east enough for my wife & kids to use) Thanks! Craig L.

For MythTv control the important keys are left/right, up/down, enter and esc. Page up/Page down are useful but one can live without them. I may be interested in helping, but I am really busy right now and not accustomed to C++ development in Linux. The bummer is that the cursor is hidden in the Myth...

VNCSix keys?

Um, I really want to use VncSix to vnc to the MythFrotend running on my MythTv box, but it doesn't seem to support basic functions like left, right , up down, space, esc. Those are the only keys mythtv uses, and none of them seem to be supported. The mouse cursor is invisible on the mythtv front end...

Sticky Topics Please!!

Could someone with the correct rights establish some sticky topics? Each of the primary apps should get a sticky topic to announce releases and updates. It would really help the newbies if there was a sticky topic listing the primary apps available as well. Just a suggestion, but I think it would be...

I'm running 0.18.1. I got it to work , it appears that it couldn't handle there not being any recordered shows. Once I recorded a show it started working. I keep getting messages saying that "the client speaks version 8 but we speak version 15" messages, but I'm guessing that is just because mythrok...

MythRoku data

OK, maybe I'm just an idiot, but I can't seem to find any useful data about MythRoku. I have MythTv running on my server and installed MythRoku 0.77 on my HD1000. It connects to the MythBackend and I can I get two text lines on the HD1000, one says live tv and the one below it says something else (I...

Not an expert here, but it sounds like trying to band-aid the problem. Maybe one of the Linux gurus can help you troubleshoot the cause of the problem. I haven't heard of others having this problem. This could even be the symptom of a defective unit, who knows at this point. Now if the HD1000 was ru...

First off let me say that I love it. This versionis much more stable. My kids don't lock it up any more!! As a future request, would it be possible to search by folder, not just artist/album? I have all my ripped CDs stored in named folders, just the way I want to organize them. I have a problem wit...
