Shawn, while you're asking about those missing notes (little numbers), maybe you could ask about the missing notes on another page. I was looking at 'Product Comparison - All Roku Player Models'. It has notes for 1,2, & 3 but not for 4, 5 & 6.

I too have NEVER had a problem with any mp4 movies/shows. I use Handbrake for conversion.
Some people have reported problems with various framerates (FPS). I always set mine to 29.97
and have never had a problem.

Yep, same problem for me (Roku 1). Shawn, please let us know when a fix becomes available, though it's not hurting anything.

I just checked my Roku 1 XR. Normally I use the HDMI. But I checked with composite and also component cables. I don't see any problems.

Hulu is not available on any STB (set top box). That is a Hulu decision, not Roku.

After months and months and months, Roku has the 'official' power supply back in-stock ($9.99) on their Accessories page. For those of you with the old N1000, it might be a good time to pick up a spare.

But also note, it only lists the current generation of boxes. Will it actually work with Roku 1's?

Since HDMI->DVI might or might not work with the OP's TV, I think it would behoove the OP to go ahead and get a Roku2. But buy it from Roku directly or from Amazon. Sellers that have a money back guarantee, unlike Ebay. Try it, if it works - no problem, if it doesn't - send it back.
