Re: Which Radio services apply right now to M1001 ?

I understand that Rhapsidy no longer works for M1001, neither Napster or Spotify does .....so which one does work with the Soundbridge ?? Via Jamcast you can get direct subscription access to Grooveshark, Spotify, Google Music... use the Virtual Soundcard channel for anything not directly supported...

2-channel 16-bit 48kHz

It is non-seekable if that matters, not sure if Roku would issue any byte range requests for this resource but they would most definitely fail...

Re: Roku USB Channel becomes Roku Media Player

It presently tries to pick the first one that will work. It doesn't just look at the first. If it is picking the first, it is because it thinks it can play back with the first. Please include the name of the dlna server, its version, and the name of the platform(windows, linux, wifirouter(branch, e...

Re: Roku USB Channel becomes Roku Media Player

Hi Roku Devs, It seems that for a given DLNA track, the Roku's not picking a compatible resource when offered multiple options but rather just going with the first. For example, a DLNA track offers L16/MP3 resources in that order, the track fails playback with "Audio playback failed. The format...

Re: Pandora on Soundbridge

If you're getting silent playback from Jamcast's Virtual Soundcard, it's most likely a soundcard configuration issue as jjaf said. On Windows XP, this feature is reliant upon your soundcard's "Stereo Mix" recording input. Sometimes it's called Wave _____, or "What U Hear". Silent...

What Phorrest said... it sounds like you're recording audio from a mic and not from Stereo Mix. Change over to Stereo Mix and you should be all set. More assistance is available here: http://www.sdstechnologies.com/Forum/de ... posts&t=21

You will find Jamcast in the Soundbridge media library list, which is the top level menu. Select the Change Library option to get there, Jamcast will appear above Play Internet Radio. Thanks. I did find it at last. The signal is so week that I only get the faintest of sound from the speakers: like ...

Thanks! Downloaded Jamcast and it worked like a charm. Took me a few minutes to figure out that the "virtual soundcard" showed up under the Playlists but once i realized that, I was up and running and loving it...... It's worth mentioning that Jamcast actually does support PlaysForSure DR...

This service, as well as others like Napster (which I love btw, same deal) HAVE to have a server running on a Windows PC because of the DRM. All of the DRM "guts" are part of Windows and Windows Media Player. Check out Jamcast (see the link in my signature), it's the only software out ther...
