Similar problem here. In my case, the Roku XD simply doesn't output in 1080, only 720. I am connected with an HDMI cable and I have switched the settings to 1080 but the only output is in 720, streaming or not.

Yes, I too have encountered this problem. It has been occurring for the last 3 or 4 nights. It appears to stop at almost exactly 30 minutes into the show with 14 minutes remaining.
