Wrong Time Displayed

I too suffer from the wrong time being displayed sometimes on my M2000, R1000, and M1000. All are using the Roku time server. I'm thinking that it might have something to do with a failed attempt and applying the time zone offset again since it seems to jump in 7 hour increments. (I think that is wh...

I got MediaStreamer installed on my Nokia 770, and it can see my Windows server, and can play the music on the 770 itself, but when I tell MediaStreamer to control my Soundbridge Radio, everytime I try to play something it says "invalid media" and "unable to play". This would be ...

The easiest and cheapest way to do that is to just cut the US plug off and replace it with an Australian one. A couple of dollars at most.

Except the US plug is the power supply. (Wall wart)

I hope you mean many tens of thousands of hours. If we take "many thousands" to mean say 6,000 that translates into 250 days, not even a year. If they last for 4 years, that would be 35,040 hours.

Yahoo! Unlimited is still working fine with all of my SoundBridges that have the current, 2.5.174 if I remember correctly.

So I don't think your probably is with the new firmware. DRM is very touchy, and getting it to work can be a pain.

I have reported something similar a long time ago, but on mine I can still hit one of the preset buttons on the top, and once it starts playing I can turn it off, and all is normal again. The difference is I hit the volume button to turn it off, not the remote.

Re: My experience...YMMV

Since devices "share" that Linksys "switch", my guess is that is the culprit. Only one device has the connection at a time. If you replace that switch with a second router (with a different IP address than the first) that should eliminate the problem, since devices on a router c...

I think RCP is just the language used to control multiple devices that Roku makes. That refers to the "Wi-Fi Media Module" which I suspect is the device/module that Roku sells to OEMs to embed into their own hardware solutions. (That doesn't refer to the SoundBridge or SoundBridge Radio pr...

Re: Wired M2000 Can't play some Presets/ Wirelss M500 can!

My M2000 which is wired (CAT6) to a network and played back through a Audio Alchemy DAC and then into an Amp cannot play a number of the new presets. It will connect with the station but will only play hiss. Most of the station will however play. Noticeably absent are the BBC World Service and Air ...

The SoundBridge doesn't release the IP when it goes into standby, because you can still access it remotely to do whatever you want. It doesn't actually have an 'off' mode other than unplugging it.

If they really have an IR code for it. The Radio remote doesn't have a button for it either, it has a hard button on the top of the radio.

What version of the firmware do you have on your SoundBridge? Make sure it is the latest version. (2.5.171 I think)

Are you still running the iTunes sharing? You could try disabling the sharing so that only Firefly is running.

I suspect the Pinnacle unit is telling you it can't connect to the iTunes server. Can you scroll down and see the Firefly server?

When you restart the SoundBridge either from the user interface or by pulling the plug and plugging it back in it shouldn't need to be reconfigured. If you restart the SB while things are working normally does it make you resetup your connection, or does it only do that after it has muted? I wonder ...
