On the back, on the left side where it says OPT.. you'll plug in the optical audio cable.. then in the middle of the receiver where it says Component Video, plug the green/blue/red in there...

ok, I googled your receiver and pulled up a picture of the back... order the hdmi cable pack and you will also get component cables and an optical audio cable.. you can plug these into your receiver for video and audio.

you can still use component or composite cables if you don't have an hdmi port.. just more cables to deal with.. but not hard..

The Roku's are very easy to setup... I don't think you'll have any trouble at all as long as you have good wireless...

by the way, you'll love the XDS.. it is a great little box...

You have to buy the HDMI cable separately, BUT if you order with your Roku, it is only 9.99 which is a real bargain.... and yes, it handles video and audio.. so the hdmi and power is the only thing you have to plug in.

If your receiver has some extra inputs then you shouldn't have any problems... if it has an extra hdmi port, you just hook up one hdmi cable between the Roku and your receiver.. that's it.. then plug in the power and go through the setup if you have a good wireless signal for your broadband... if yo...
