Re: Has anybody used rurem.com for Russian programming?

Thanks, but it says that code "isn't associated with a valid channel."

I'm sorry, this should be it,

Re: Has anybody used rurem.com for Russian programming?

My wife likes to watch Russian TV programming, live only, no recording. We're new to Roku and not sure about the best way to go. There's a site called rurem.tv that has 150 Russian channels for $7.95 a month. http://rurem.tv/Page/TVList This seems like an awfully good deal, especially compared to o...

Re: Amazon Fire Stick

So I got my Fire Stick this yesterday, and after playing with it for a few hours I can say that my Roku 3 won't be going anywhere .. The Ui is fast and responsive but there's not really anything remarkable about it to me.. I side loaded a few apps, including xbmc. With the available plugins its valu...

I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet running Windows 8.1 and it mirrored my screen just fine. I played a few videos too and the audio came right through

Re: roku now supports screen mirroring natively! (miracast)

My Roku 3 updated last night, so I grabbed my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and sure enough as soon as I turn on mirroring it asked if I want to connect to Roku 3. Both audio and video are supported, as I successfully played several videos from the tablet, surfed the web, and even brought up a PowerPoint...

Re: No audio from .ts files (h264/AC3)

Your frame right is much higher than anything I've had experience on the Roku working correctly. That can explain the jittery video

That's right kids, YOUTUBE is here

YouTube is here, at least on my Roku 3 it is. I really like the interface, and when compared to the old-style interface of the old private channel you can see just how far Roku has come technology-wise. It says Google is the developer and it seems to use adaptive bit rate streaming. The HD looks goo...

Re: Cryptic TV no longer works

From their Facebook page: .NOTICE: We will be moving the station over to a new streaming computer over the next few days. This may affect streaming a little, but by the end we will have much better picture/audio sync, better video in general, and should stop the issue from some users experiencing a ...

Re: Interesting Yahoo/Variety Article

You forgot to mention the goodly number other threads closed prematurely for daring to demand YT. Go back and read all the arguments against YT proferred by the usual suspect(s). There has been a concerted effort to cow YT-fans into acquiesence, but an obviously ineffective one now that expectation...

Re: Chromecast - Google HDMI Dongle

If one of these things would allow me to screen cast presentations to a large TV from my android tab or ipad, I would buy one for the conference room at work. Since that does not seem to be within its ability, then for me there isn't anything about this stick that I don't have already with my Roku ...

Re: Roku with dsl???

I have 3mbs DSL and routinely stream two Rokus at once in my house. When only one is going I usually get HD on Amazon and always am able to surf the net with my desktop or iPad while watching something on Netflix.
