My wife likes to watch Russian TV programming, live only, no recording. We're new to Roku and not sure about the best way to go. There's a site called rurem.tv that has 150 Russian channels for $7.95 a month. http://rurem.tv/Page/TVList This seems like an awfully good deal, especially compared to o...
So I got my Fire Stick this yesterday, and after playing with it for a few hours I can say that my Roku 3 won't be going anywhere .. The Ui is fast and responsive but there's not really anything remarkable about it to me.. I side loaded a few apps, including xbmc. With the available plugins its valu...
My Roku 3 updated last night, so I grabbed my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and sure enough as soon as I turn on mirroring it asked if I want to connect to Roku 3. Both audio and video are supported, as I successfully played several videos from the tablet, surfed the web, and even brought up a PowerPoint...

Since that does not seem to be within its ability, then for me there isn't anything about this stick that I don't have already with my Roku ...
I have 3mbs DSL and routinely stream two Rokus at once in my house. When only one is going I usually get HD on Amazon and always am able to surf the net with my desktop or iPad while watching something on Netflix.
