Re: [Private Channel] What's On: TV & Movie Listings

I got correct channel display today (OTA channel list in canada) with v2.6. By mistake, in settings, i have entered a canadian postal code for Quebec city and there is no OTA broadcast choice anymore, but only satellite provider (no cable provider neither) for my postal code (in previous version, i...

Re: [Private Channel] What's On: TV & Movie Listings

With the legacy SDK support ending (and being removed from the Roku OS later) - is 'Whats On' running on borrowed time? Yes. Are you considering changing to SceneGraph? No. I have no plans to re-write What's On using Scene Graph. If Roku goes ahead with its plan to remove the legacy visual screen c...

Re: [Private Channel] What's On: TV & Movie Listings

The What's On Channel TV listings should now be working again. No need to update the channel on your Roku; all the changes were made on the server-end. However, you will have to go to the channel's Settings screen and re-enter your TV provider, then re-select any favorites you had previously selected.

Re: [Private Channel] What's On: TV & Movie Listings

Sorry for the problems you're having with the TV listings. I'll be away from my computer & Rokus until Wednesday, but I'll take a look at it when I return home.

I was hoping there was some Roku provided or Open Source library that already did that. Is there one?

From the old Roku SDK examples: https://sourceforge.net/p/rokusdkexamples/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/rokusdkexamples-code/web_server/

Re: What's On Private Roku channel

Tv Listings section of channel works however, the Movie Listings sections have not worked for some time. Please fix so either the Movie Listings sections work again or delete movie listings sections. Sorry that the movie listings are no longer working. Unfortunately, the RSS feed used to get the li...

Re: Spotify Roku Channel (playlists) Officially Dead

Just bought a Roku 3 today.  I set it up, only to find that it can't play Spotify playlists! (I am a Spotify Premium subscriber.) What the heck is that about?  It is outragrous that Roku feature the Spotify logo on their box, to sell their product, when such a basic Spotify function as this is miss...

Re: Makefile in roku

Another option, for anyone using the Atom text editor, is to use the roku-develop package, which will automatically discover Rokus on the local network, and create/deploy .zip files to any/all of those Rokus.

Hello, I performed the system update, but it didn't fix the problem.

What version number do you see when you run the What's On Channel and go to its Settings screen (the version number is in the top right-hand corner)? If it's not Version 2.6/03, then try doing another system update.

The TV listings are now working again in Version 2.6/03. To force the system to install the latest update, on your Roku go to Settings>System>System update>Check now

Re: [Private Channel] What's On: TV & Movie Listings

I haven't had time to look into why the developer portal thinks I'm a robot. I've already spent way more than the 5 minutes I budgeted for uploading the fix. I may have some time over the weekend to get back to it. Apologies to you and the 35,000+ other users who are inconvenienced by this nonsense.
