Cooking Shows...?

I've been looking through the various databases online and was hoping to find some Food Network shows for my Roku...:/

Anyone know of any? I like the CHOP channel, it's neat but I wanted to watch Alex's Day Off, Paula Deen and maybe some hottie Giada? :)

Re: using multiple roku boxes

Generally speaking, as long as you have at least a 802.11g wireless connection and a good broadband Internet connection you should be all good. Slower DSL (below 1.5mb) or 802.11b connectivity will likely lead to choppy video and connectivity issues.

My issue is the guy who I spoke to had me delete the password for the network setup, I do not remember the password as the Roku saves it. So my problem now it what to do regarding the password, any input would help!

Is it the password for your wireless network or for your roku account?

OK, well then it sounds like you should just return your box to me. Mine works fine and listening to others on this site, there's does too...

Stupid question: have you tried re-flashing your Roku? The re-adding the Netflix channel?

Re: Netflix on Roku SUCKS!

Jazer -- plugging directly into the Roku makes PERFECT sense. It sounds to me like you really just want your money back. There is nothing wrong with Netflix (Silverlight vs Flash aside) and nothing wrong with Roku. Your box may be flakey, who knows but you don't seem like you actually want to troubl...

Re: Roku Sucks in Playing Netflix

Actually, if you have DSL it might be your network in conjuction with the Roku box. On your other devices, the Netflix player does a slightly better job or stepping down the quality of the video coming from Netflix then the Netflix Channel on Roku. I've noticed my Roku HD doesn't do a great job of i...

Re: Hulu Plus Stinks!!!!!!

I do hope that Hulu starts cutting back on their "free" content while expanding their Plus content. I woud guess that this is what we will eventually see. Why do you want that? Because this will mean that I can get more content on my TV through my Roku. I don't give a darn about the free ...

Re: New Channels???

Hey Patrick -- thanks so much for the list -- really appreciate it... and this thread is AWESOME! I bought my Roku HD just before Thanksgiving and waited for Hulu+ with baited breath... Now, with Hulu+ and Netflix we have a pretty good little box! These other channels are more-or-less icing on the c...
