I'm running TVersity on an Athlon XP2400 machine that is also a PDC, and there are no issues. Admittedly, I don't use it to serve external streams, only DivX files that are local. There is a 108Mbps 802.11a wireless bridge between the PDC and the 10/100 switch the Roku is plugged into I am using the...

Starting MPlay in a UPNP folder

This is most likely a question for TheEndless......

There's a command line switch -browsedir - I'd like to set this up to point to a TVersity UPNP folder, but can't figure out how to do it. Is if possible?

TIA

Something along the lines of net-snmp would be good, would like to send traps (Just for the halibut), and to query video mode, current track, etc., also, just for the halibut.

If it's not there natively, no big deal.

OK, got it done - I RTFM on your website, used -NativeUPnP, as documented. Also, instead of changing the app invocation to "$SXPATH/MPlay.app -NativeUPnP", I have it as "$SXPATH/MPlay.app" "-NativeUPnP"

Now to sort out that transcoding problem.......

OK, I tried it. I added it in the wrapper, and this is the result when running it on the command line: # MPlay.roku ./MPlay.roku: ./MPlay.app -UseNativeUPnP: No such file or directory # When invoking "MPlay.roku -UseNativeUPnP", it is the same as before, not suprising, as the wrapper does ...

Thanks TheEndless, I'll give the switch a try tonight when I get home - I'm not sure how to do the command line switches, but I'm sure there's some info out there.

Great app, by the way, also using SlimRoku, and am very impressed.

MPlay, TVersity and FFDShow

Given up on Nero Mediahome - it's just too much like bloatware. So, this is what I'm trying: TVersity 0.9.9.2 FFDShow rev 1028 MPlay I've run into a couple of problems. 1. In order to get the TVersity share to show up in the Roku, I have to restart the Windows service 2. I can't browse the TVersity ...

Re: Automatic playback after boot without menu?

Folks, What do I have to change in the original setup, that my HD1000 starts without the menu and instead jumps directly into playing MPEGS from the CF-Card (loop mode). I know that it is possible, but don't know how. Thanks, L. This thread might help: http://www.rokulabs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t...

MPlay & Nero MediaHome

I've tried getting MPlay to play back divx video files via Nero MediaHome 2.0.0.18 (Bundled with Nero Premium 7.5.7.0), but all I get is a "File open failed" message. I have transcoding set to MPEG-2 high bit rate. My HD1000 couldn't even see the media server until I set it up to run in co...

Everything is correctly set up according to the manual - I've also connected my STB directly to component in on the HD1000, and it will not pass through the STB signal when the HD1000 is in standby.

Problem is, I don't want to have to send it back under warranty, as I'm in NZ.
