Re: BTN 2 GO audio/video hiccups

For live TV I often watch BTN on Channel Pear (private channel), it's been flawless for months. I go to the official channel first but if it starts having issues I go right to the Channel Pear app.

Yes, I have NFL Gamepass. It is working fine on other devices, but as I said the NFL Now app on the Roku (where Gamepass is to be housed) is not yet operational. Disappointing.

Very disappointing indeed.

Re: TiVo Lifetime

It looks like the offer is still available. It may be time to upgrade my TiVo Premiere, that is a very attractive price for lifetime service. I've been paying $15/month for a several years. Thanks for the heads up.

Re: MLB.TV 2015 on the Roku

I tried this force update last night. It installed the current firmware over my already up to date firmware but still no joy. Every time I try to play ANY game the loading bar starts at about 10%, doesn't move and within 3-5sec, the screen goes black for 5-10sec. and then I see the Roku reboot. It ...

I look forward to trying this this coming weekend.

Please let us know how it worked for you.

I'm sorry about the issues many of you are experiencing. I wonder why it's still flawless on my Roku3.

Re: Request Sling Tv for Roku 2050 XD

The channel would have to be completely rewritten to be useable on the older models. I would't waste anytime hoping for this because it will never happen. Usually when a channel is developed and not available on the older devices it's because the old hardware will not allow the channel to run in the...

Re: NFL suspending TV blackouts for 2015 season

Does anyone know what the NBA does regarding blackouts? I'm not much of an NBA fan, so I haven't paid attention whether the team which has our market is on through ESPN's streaming service or not. Does it even still offer as broad a streaming option as does MLB, NHL, and MLS (which I believe allows...

Re: Roku 3 compatibility with MLB.TV for 2015 season

I just bought a Roku 3 thinking that's the best Roku to watch MLB.TV with (bought purely for the fact that Roku's the only non-console that will get the audio overlay functionality to listen to the radio broadcast while watching the tv broadcast). However, Roku 3 (4200R) is not listed as supported ...

You can also just pull the power cord and plug it back in. It will update when it reboots.

Re: Roku portability

I teach a free senior computer and Internet use class and I have been asked about the use of a Roku box, which they have heard me mention many times. Can I bring in my Roku 3 and my laptop plugged in to a 50" LCD HDTV to demonstrate the use. My concern is will it recognize that it is not on my...

Re: Roku portability

There's only certain channels that won't work, such as certain ones that require you to be on a network that is the same as your cable TV providers', such as the Time Warner channel or ESPN.. You are correct about Time Warner but the WatchESPN app is available no matter what network you are on. I u...
