RAF Ad Counter Display?

When there is just a single preroll ad for a video, how do you disable the "Ad 1 of 1" text in the top left corner with Roku Ad Framework in scenegraph?

Re: roVideoPlayer with seekbar

roVideoPlayer requires you to create your own trick play bar from scratch using the available 2d or rescreen components. It's a lot of work to do.

Re: About Recorded Strem url

If the program is live streaming then I don't think the times in the status bar show up - it starts at the nearest-to segment to current.

Re: About Recorded Strem url

You could use any number of ways to do this.  In the content metadata you can set the StreamStartTimeOffset field, or the BookmarkPosition (deprecated), or Playstart, Clipstart and/or ClipEnd or use Seek. Or if the video is always starting from the same place and you want to always skip what is at t...

Re: Is it possible Authorize.Net or any other payment gateway in Roku SceneGraph

Roku prefers you use Roku Billing.  As long as everything you sell ends in a price of 99 cents (last time I looked) then that should work if you set up the prices you need.

Re: Computing sha256 hash on an empty string

You can still have a generic function to pass a value to.  Something like Function ComputeHash(input As String) As String If input<>"" ba = CreateObject("roByteArray") ba.FromAsciiString(input) digest = CreateObject("roEVPDigest") digest.Setup("sha256") Result...

Re: Computing sha256 hash on an empty string

If it's always going to require the hash of an empty string, then the value will always be the same, so what real difference does it make for you if you simply hardcode it?

Re: Someone published my game as theirs

You might try sending Roku a DMCA Takedown notice for those channels.  Then they would be required to remove them or have a possible copyright lawsuit.

Re: Roku channel to support all the display type

If you can report the issue to partnersuccess@roku.com perhaps the engineers can look at it - all things 'should' be scaled with that single resolution listed in the manifest.  But some things, depending on roku model, are not scaled correctly.

Re: Roku channel to support all the display type

In the manifest file, put hd for resolution and it will auto-scale to what is being used.

Re: Problem trying display labels

I'd say to just use a single label for each item.  That way you can set the font and specifications and placement individually.  But that is a lot of labels to deal with.  If it is static information then you might consider making a jpg or png, and using a poster to display it.

Re: How to skip an iteration in a FOR loop?

Just for kicks I tried, and yes, End For can't be within the If statement either, so it's consistent. Other languages (like PHP) allow this - next will exit any subsequent nested if statements and increment the internal loop counter and re-execute the inner-most loop, just not brightscript.

Re: How to skip an iteration in a FOR loop?

NEXT does not work for me  inside that if statement. Syntax error. Weird, ok, you are right.  It can't be within the IF statement. But this works fine if you rewrite the loop slightly.  And if you're wanting the index value of the array for the printed results, you should increment the value after ...

Re: How to skip an iteration in a FOR loop?

destruk, that gives me: Syntax Error. (compile error &h02) in pkg:/source/mn.brs(1846) which is the line with Next That is odd.  Perhaps they can not be mixed, but all of my loops I write for my own apps use Next instead of End For. So I'll need to test and see if replacing End For here with Ne...
