Nothing I can think of would have caused this.
Try rolling back to 1.5.18 and see if you have the problem.
I would suspect, though, that either you didn't notice it before, you have some new cabling or equipment interference problems, or some other cause.

You should always be able to go back to 1.5.18 without problems.
Did you do it with an update.rok file or a formatup.rok file?
You should use formatup.rok to go back to 1.5.18 and then a formatup.rok to go to 2.0.34. That should work.
