I've been silent on this issue because I don't know the answer. I'm pretty sure it can be done, but I need to look into it. There are literally thousands of ways to configure the hardware with a relatively small amount of documentation so please be patient. It will take me several days just to explo...

Loaded MP3 codec Loaded WAV codec Loaded AIFF codec WARNING: libCascadeAudioCodecFLAC.so is incorrect version. 2.0.34 expected, 2.0.24 encountered Loaded FLAC codec Could this be causing sonata to crash..? No, that's ok. It just means that the FLAC codec was built with the 2.0.24 SDK and you're run...

Re: Trouble downloading

Anyone seeing any problems downloading? I am able to get it to show me that version 2.0.34 is available, but after that, the download bar pops up for a second and then it is gone. I looked at a network dump of the traffic using ethereal and there is a strange tcp/ip handshake going on. I can provid...

Re: ajs6000

I too am in the UK with a 1024x768 Panny (42PHD7). I had to zero my picture size settings first (picture pos/size button on remote) - because the panny remembers different settings for different frequencies. I, though, hate using 1024x768 because Roku have decided that this mode should be 4:3 only ...

Can't really help you unless I know what kind of TV sets you guys have. Your sets may not support all of the 50Hz modes. For example, my Panny 42" here in the office will display 1080i @ 50Hz but not 720P @ 50Hz. Our European Market Mitsubishi displays all modes fine. It may just be that your set is...

I'm back now. Here's the deal with "Music Playback Unavailable": Sonata displays this message when it cannot open the audio hardware. The reason it can't open the audio hardware is because some program crashed with the audio hardware already open (possibly sonata, possibly a third party app). The bu...

Nothing I can think of would have caused this.
Try rolling back to 1.5.18 and see if you have the problem.
I would suspect, though, that either you didn't notice it before, you have some new cabling or equipment interference problems, or some other cause.

You should always be able to go back to 1.5.18 without problems.
Did you do it with an update.rok file or a formatup.rok file?
You should use formatup.rok to go back to 1.5.18 and then a formatup.rok to go to 2.0.34. That should work.

Hi Ross,

If we exposed the PhotoBridge as a UPnP Media Renderer would that do what you wanted?

Also, look forward to discussing this with you further, but I'm off to Japan for a week.

Best,

News on PAL support

Hi to everyone that wishes for PAL support: Just a quick note to say I've gotten PAL 720P@50Hz and PAL1080i@50Hz video modes working today and the playback of PAL videos is now skip-free using those modes! When using the built-in player you'll have to manually switch output modes, but Marcelo3d has ...

Re-enabling is easy (undo a comment) - it's the complaining of "I can't hear anything coming out on my Brand X SPDIF receiver" that I'm seeking to avoid! :)
