Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

I have the Pro version of IP Camera Viewer.  If I purchase either a Blink XT or Blink XT2 camera will I be able to view them on my Roku Stick+ ?? If your cameras support jpeg video encoding (mjpeg, rtsp) or jpeg snapshot, then yes. Else, if your camera only supports h264 streams then it will work i...

What if you only have a Roku Streaming stick and no Raspberry Pi? Can you stream h.264 streams to the Roku device using IP Camera Viewer?

If your camera provides http live streaming, yes. If it doesn't, no.

Yes, you need IP Camera viewer pro, a cheap raspberry pi and then follow this guide: https://github.com/e1ioan/rokuphp

That means that php wasn't installed. There are 2 scripts for running the install, try the second one.

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

Hello, I'm trying to set my camera up with IP Camera Viewer Basic, and I was able to get the video working with the JPEG snapshot option, but I'm unable to get the PTZ control working. I suspect this is because they operate on different ports (80 for the JPEG stream, 8999 for the PTZ control). It's...

Re: SALES ACTIVITY link on the Developer dashboard

For me the new tool is useless. There is no information there that I'll use regularly, maybe it will be useful once a year when I fill my taxes but other than that it's completely useless. I used to check the sales report daily, now... God knows what is happening with my sales until Roku deposits it...

Re: SALES ACTIVITY link on the Developer dashboard

I have to agree.  The new transaction reporting system is a step backwards in many respects. ⋅ Viewing aggregate information for all channels seems impossible. ⋅ Viewing the data on a specific channel is more difficult.  I literally have to scroll down to get the horizontal scro...

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

Has RTSP support been added yet?  I have some Unifi cameras that do not have a mjpeg option.  Just RTSP "proxy" via the NVR. RTSP works if the camera has jpeg encoded rtsp stream. My guess is that Unifi cameras have just h264 stream and if that's the case, you'll can make it work only wit...

I'm interested in the answer to this question too. I really need to use SSL encryption with roStreamSocket. Is it possible? It will ever be possible?

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

I have four m3u8 streams successfully setup using the pro version. They all work perfectly when playing full screen. However, when I try to do split screen 2,3 or 4 it just sticks at loading. I let it sit for 5min and still not one would load. Roku can only decode and play one video at the time. Fo...

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

Hi - I have a Wyze Cam with the DAFANG hack.  I have set it to MJPEG stream, but I cannot get the image to show up in IP Camera Viewer Basic or Pro.  I've set the IP and port, entered the username and password of the camera (also tried leaving both blank), and set the Stream URL to :/UNICAST" ...

ONVIF is enabled, port is 888.
Roku is on the same network as the cams..

Does the ONVIF discovery, from the application, finds your cameras?

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

Hi - I have an Amcrest ip3m-941 camera. The feed comes through on my Roku, but there is often a delay of 2-10 seconds and sometimes the picture freezes for several seconds. Are there any settings in the app, on the Roku, or on the camera that I can change to reduce the lag?  Thanks! If you are usin...
