Mine is definitely wired, so not a signal strength problem for me.

I'll check in the other skipping thread.

Skip with no error in log

I'm seeing this as well. Latest non-beta firmware on a wired M1000. Firefly is 1.0 running on windows XP. Nothing of interest in the logs, just "streaming....". It has happened without having previously skipped a song by remote doublearrow key, but seems to be more prevalent after having s...

Just to wrap this up. After some initial confusion, my M1000 is being replaced under warranty (even though it is slightly out of warranty). My replacement unit is scheduled to be delivered today.

M1000 Ethernet dead

My M1000's ethernet has died. I bought it in November of 2004, so it is a few months out of warranty. So, I suppose my only option at this point is to buy another one, and there comes the problem. I'm having a hard time convincing my wife that the M1000 is worth $200 a year. Should this be considere...

SB starts over at beginning of playlist by itself

I thought I had noticed my M1000 suddenly jumping to the beginning of a playlist and I finally have tracked down when and how it is happening. I have a roughly 4000 song playlist that I usually shuffle play. The vast majority (99%) of the songs are WMA Lossless. I am using WMC for a server and I hav...

Unable to play low bitrate WMA Lossless

I'm having trouble playing low bitrate (seems like less than 400Kbits/sec) WMA lossless files. My M1000 just says "unable to play". I am using WMC as a server, and have the latest M1000 code loaded. I used WMP to make a playlist of all wma files less then 500Kbits/sec and I haven't found the cutoiff...

Shuffle first song in playlist

When the SB is in shuffle mode and a playlist is selected to play, please shuffle before selecting the first song to play. SB currently always plays the first song as defined in the playlist first and then shuffles for subsequent songs to play. I'm getting tired of hearing the first song in my large...

Browse albums by genre

Is this working as expected? I select Browse->Browse Genre->Blues The first thing shown is <show all matching albums>, scrolling down shows artists within the genre. But, selecting <show all matching albums>, just brings up <show all matching songs> with nothing to scroll through. No list of albums....

Running 2.1 beta 2 right now, just noticed this morning that beta 3 was available. I'll download it tonight.

Just to confirm: when this happens, you still have network connectivity to the SoundBridge (telnet was mentioned), correct? To verify you could always go to System Configuration and choose the Software Version and Updates item just to make sure that the SoundBridge can see the network and contact t...

Another vote for this. I know there are issues with continuing with where the SB was in a song queue, since things may have changed on the server. But, it would be useful if there were at least an option to continue to play the pre-standby playlist (not the same song queue) in the pre-standby mode (...

There's no way to alter this display at present.

WMC is the only server we know about that exports both "album artist" and "performer", which is really a cool richness in their database. I hope we'll be able to support this in a later release.

Ok, great! Please consider it a feature request.

Any way to change what info gets displayed during play?

Is there any way to change what gets displayed during song playback? It shows song title and album artist (so sometimes it is "Various Artists" or "Original Soundtrack"). What I'd like to see is song title and artist. I know I can get all the info by selecting the song and then "get song info", but ...
