Re: Netflix and Roku don't mix

"The Last Tango in Paris" is actually an X-rated movie, which Netflix defines as "NC 17", so I wouldn't give too much credance to Netflix's ratings. Although it is possible that the version available on Netflix has removed the infamous "buttering scene"... To be fair t...

Place the bread between two Roku units that have been running for several hours and it will cook the bread. Toasting it requires an additional 3rd party component and as such Roku will not support it. :)

Anyone know where the Mummy Box music feeds are pulled from?
Video is quite good, but the rebuffering issue is problematic.
Anyone know the source for these feeds?
Pop, Rock and Jazz are the one's I'm interested in.

The HD-Pop, HD-Rock, and HD-Jazz music stations are from Romania.

Re: France 24 on Mummybox

Thanks for letting me know. I didn't notice it was down. It appears the address that France 24 is providing for their iphone stream is redirecting properly, but I don't see any audio or video signal. One of the two streams I am using is the one they list on their website, both are giving me the same...

Re: Does Roku have a CSPAN channel?

C-SPAN doesn't license for IPTV use. I attempted to follow their licensing procedure to be able to provide a source for Roku and they categorically denied offering a license. (Meaning they didn't ignore me. They actually gave me a denied letter.)

Re: Your top ten channels

Not intending to hijack or spam, so please excuse me if you take it as such! I am curious... only one person has mentioned the Instant Watch Browser channel. Based on my usage statistics, I'd have expected a higher percentage than that. Do you folks not use it, think of it more as part of Netflix, ...

Re: Mummy Box - Stream Issues w/ HD Music Channels

Can anyone help with droop / rebuffering issues? There usually isn't a lot that can be changed to improve the operation. Note there is a minor memory leak that occurs in switching between stations a lot. So it is sometimes best to try a single channel code within the app to see if you can watch it ...

How well can Roku handle recorded movie files? Can it play 720p MKV? Or H.264? Does it have support for .srt subtitles?

Generally no on the MKV. It does play some files, but not just anything in that format. Yes, it handles .srt fine.
