There is a new location for the mp3 stream listed on their website, it is now: http://network.virginradio.co.uk/core/a ... rvice=vrbb Which I can confirm works from my Soundbridge with the 2.7 release.

The MP3 hasn't worked from my soundbridge or my PC for about a month now. On the soundbridge, it just keeps re-trying. I don't even get the "We're having some problems with this internet audio feed" that I would sometimes get. Whether it's a badly configured peer on their part, I don't kno...

ASX is the file format used by their Windows Media Player stream. They list all of their stream here: http://www.virginradio.co.uk/listen/ Go to the 'Ways to listen" part of the page and select "online", then copy the appropriate link to your Roku.

I couldn't get the MP3 stream to work last night (either Soundbridge or PC), but I added the ASX and it did. Maybe there's something fishy with the MP3?

Most Virgin radio stations are available at a low and high bitrate. When accessed from your PC, it automatically chooses the best method for your connection. By connection, I mean the entire path betwheen your PC and their server. You can access the lower bitrate stream by dropping the "bb"...

I sometimes get this too, I've connected the Roku via optical. I figured it was just the decoder trying to lock onto the signal. The decoder does the same thing if I feed my CD player into (via coax) it.

Sounds (no pun intended) like they are not properly tagged. You can use Media Player to search for the info and fill out the tags.
