Yeah. That's what I was afraid of. Seems Roku support of the soundbridge is dead. Disappointing. It's still such a great device.

Any Development Activity? Is Roku fixing bugs?

I've come across at least two... "NowPlayingRemoveAt" seems to crash with large shuffled playlists. When Shuffle is toggled (by any means), "GetCurrentNowPlayingIndex" returns the playlist index of the track in it's previous position, before the shuffle/unshuffle. Only after that...

WCBS (AM - 880) works fine for me. Look it up on RadioRoku.

I'm not sure about WCBS FM (101.1)...

Which are you referring to?

Yeah, Mike. We will miss you much! I'm sure your co-workers at Roku will miss you too. I think you've done wonders for this company. I expect you will continue to do wonders wherever you go. Come back and see us from time to time!!

Best of luck!

Thanks for the reply.. I've been thinking about whether to put the beta on off the bat, before I start loading it up... I'll probably let it go, and keep serving via my PC until Radiator 4 is final and then switch over to serving via the infrant. Of course, still trying to figure out whether to conv...

At the time this thread was started, the Soundbridge didn't decode ALAC natively. I understand, now it does, and is, in fact the only lossless compressed format that is decoded natively. Is ALAC, decoded on the soundbridge gapless? You may read in another thread I'm awaiting a linux based NAS and, s...

Firefly preinstalled on Infrant ReadyNAS??

Does anyone know for sure whether Infrant/Netgear ReadyNAS Raid boxes come preinstalled with Firefly? I have one of these coming tomorrow for other purposes, but would be nice if I could run Firefly off of it too.

Anyone know?

Yup. Agree.. They all sound the same. Pick whichever you prefer from a file/tag management and compatibility perspective.

If you run Linux, it's probably FLAC. If you run Itunes, it's probably ALAC. If you run WMP it's probably WMA Lossless.

I use WMAL too, and all is well.

This discussion is getting old. AND this is not the first time this has come up. We can search the forum and find the other threads that debate the health risks associated with nominal, sporadic WLAN transmission. There's no further point to this thread. RokuMike has already acknowledged the feature...

Even notebooks shut down all network interfaces in standby mode.

That's because they run on batteries.

I wholeheartedly support this feature request - I think the Roku's standby is really beyond any reasonable standby.. it's the only device I know that besides the display really stays on all the way. You must not have a cable/Satellite box. Most of these, even the ones with DVR's stay on all the tim...

Bill W., if you really are seeing this bug with only one track being served by WMC 2.0... that's just weird. :D I could have sworn that Mp3tag's "remove tag" feature would remove every possible tag that might be screwing with the parsing. Did you try tagging it exclusively with WMP 10 aft...

That is very similar to what you'd see if the internal CD identifier tag is 'different' on any of the tracks or if you have single album tracks split between directories. Yup. Grommet is right again. WMC2.0 sees that some of your tracks, even though they have the same Album Title and Album Artist, ...

Bottom line is soundbridges have 20-bit or 24-bit DAC's capable of 48kHz sample rates depending on which hardware you have. 24-bits in this case, I think it a little bit of a marketing thing. These probably don't compare that well to the DAC's in decent receivers these days. Most find this is the ca...
