What hd-pvr did you get? Does mythtv schedule and save the recorded output? Does the mythtv talk to the directv using IR or usb/serial to change the channel?

I use Viper as a front-end video browser. It calls MPlay to play the video/DVD. Not certain if this would help you but I have fixed a few bugs and posted the binary and source at http://fnu.iranger.com/downloads/viper.tar.gz.

If I copy the file up to my Mac, the lip sync doesn't occur so I do believe it is something with the player in MythRoku. The crash is repeatable and occurs when you first start up the show. I concur with keeping at least one of the photobridge forums open for posting. It is also useful to keep the archives. There are still some people who use these devices and it doesn't cost the company anything or very much to do this. It will be regarded as very good customer support and relations.

I upgraded my mythbuntu to the latest before sending that last crash output so I know that is current. Seems to crash when I play a HD comm-flagged show.
