FS: 2 Two rev. A PB1000s

Hey all- I've got 2 used Photobridges to sell, one with a 512mb CF card and one with 256mb CF card. I'm asking $275 a piece, the first will go with the larger card :) + shipping. I'll be putting these on Ebay in a week or so, but wanted to give the community here a chance first. Thanks- Brad

thanks for the update and what you've already done. We use mythroku daily to watch recorded programs. I'm sure i can speak for a few of us, let up know if you need testers etc. quick question for curiosity sake, do you use mplay for the player or just the native functionality of the roku?

mythroku

I would be willing to make a financial contribution to help encourage further development on this app to include more of the MythTV functionality. Has anyone considered a coder-for-hire type scenario to have the app beefed up. I don't want to devalue the effort people have put into what has already ...

VNC + Bluetooth keyboard

I though I would just post my progress here. I've now got a bluetooth keyboard working with my PB (actually with the PC) I ended up with a Bluelogic Keyboard/trackball combo. My backend is a linux box so the the set-up was a little more complicated than need be. Other than some bogus keystrokes (it'...

rss too?

A standalone app sounds great, not to suggest that slim doesn't work great.

Any chance you could use it to read RSS as well?

Podcasts with Slimroku

Nice work on the slimroku rewrite. Seems to be working well, I got it installed this morning. Quick question regarding podcasts... How do I add my own? I tried using the podcast list in the slim web ui but they don't show up on the roku. Any suggestions or did I just miss something obvious? bt

Hey Andy-

The key mapping works great. Thanks for that.

So now I've started messing with firefox and VNC, pretty slick to have in on the livingroom TV.

Quick question- have you figured out how to have a bluetooth keyboard/mouse work in VNC?

Thanks again for a great app...

I've looked around, i think the VBI option is only there for tuner cards. My video is coming in off a firewire card connected to a cable box. I do see audio sync problems with SD recording, strange the HD stuff works fine. Other than mash and kids shows we don't watch much SD, so it hasn't been a bi...

I think I may have found a small bug... please correct me if I'm wrong here. When playing an internet radio station on the PB the large text (title and artist) to the right on the art above the upcoming songs box reflects the track being played on my other slim player (softsqueeze or the other PB) I...

convert to roku video format using mencoder or ffmpeg

Good Morning- I have some .mp4 videos that were taken with my cell phone. I was hoping to encode them to a format viewable on the PB. I've found the posts explaining vlc. Mine is a headless linux system. I fought with mencoder and ffmpeg last night for a while with the best results being a video wit...

Interesting, you are right, the find command returns them in the same order. My shares are on a linux box so I tried the following brute force approach: mkdir /tmp/sortme find /home/roku/ -name '*.roku' | sort | xargs -i cp {} /tmp/sortme/ rm /home/roku/*.roku find /tmp/sortme/ -name '*.roku' | sort...

I should give credit to the icons author as well, I am no artist:

(from a meedioTV theme.)

I resized them to 96x96.
