If you have the app on your mobile and it works with the Roku, on the Roku menu on your TV go to [Settings] -> [Remote pairing] and see if you can get the two to sync from there.
is it wireless or do I need to hook it up to the TV? You need to hook it up to your TV using an HDMI cable [not included] or with the included A/V cable. If you have an HDTV with an HDMI input port, use an HDMI cable [they're about $5-$10 at Walmart] so you can get HD picture. The A/V cable can onl...
Is the Roku connected to the amp's audio input or is it connected to the output? If it's the former, just make sure that the amp is set to the correct source so it outputs the audio from the Roku [and not from a difference source/device]. If you're still not getting audio, it's best to double-check ...
Try to do another factory reset on the stick, then disconnect it from the TV. Take the batteries out of the remote and let it sit for a minute. Reconnect the stick to your TV, put the batteries back into the remote then hit the pairing button [still on the remote] for 5-10 seconds. If that still doe...
Here's what I do: - Connect the laptop to the travel router so I can access the user-interface. - Have the travel router connect to the hotel/RV WiFi network. - Tell the laptop go to my favorite website, so the authentication page comes up. - Do the authentication [i.e. username and/or password, or ...
Which Roku model do you have? Is it the HDMI version or the MHL version? If it's the HDMI version, do you have the USB power cable connected to the projector or to the included power brick? If it's the former, try to use the included power brick and see if it makes a difference. http://www.cnoley.co...
^ I've been told it was becoming a trend. Not really sure why they had to do that. The least they could do was use a VPN to make sure [or at least lessen the chance] that they couldn't be traced LOL.
It was mentioned by someone in another thread. Just check back on my posts and you'll see. BTW, I'm on until 8PM PST so if you wanna say "Hi", just drop by the LiveChat portal and look me up [there's a long queue though so I'd suggest you'd rather not LoL]. I'll be hanging around OCN [over...
To those who knew/suspected that I was a shill, thanks for not calling me out / bursting my bubble. Probably one of the reasons I never got the invite to be a VCM but nobody really needs that title to help others out, right? Right? I'm not good with goodbyes so this is kind of awkwar...
Sign in to the router's setup page and have it use a different wireless channel. If it's on auto, chances are it's jumping from one wireless channel to another - giving the Roku a hard time. Try having it on channel 1, then redo the setup on the Roku player. That usually fixes it.
If you added the channel prior to December of last year, you'd be grandfathered in - but if you installed it recently, then the first 30 days is free, then comes the one time $4.99 fee. If I had to pay it so I could keep it on my box, I would. A one time fee of $4.99 is not much for a fully-function...
I've tried a couple of SanDisks microSD cards in the past, all 4Gbs ones. 3 out of the 4 I got didn't work. I have them stored in my toolbox, somewhere.
Two words: Travel router As long as the router has a feature called "WiFi as WAN", you're set to go. If you do a search on these pages for "travel router", you'll see that it's been brought up a good number of times. I got myself an MBR1000 from Cradlepoint after someone suggeste...
