Re: bbc iplayer

Agreed. I have to return to the Roku menu after watching something on iplayer and then reload the app to watch something else. Never had a problem with the previous iplayer app.

Re: MLB.TV 2014 on the Roku (chapter 2)

The Roku MLB.TV 2014 channel must be working well for all as it has been over one week since anyone posted of any issues. I am very pleased with the channel. brett Yes, seemed to have fixed the early season issues. For me, i originally bought the Roku solely to watch baseball and it is still the be...

Re: UK Sky Now box & Plex

I'm not sure about your question about plex on the nowtv box. I do know that you cannot access all the channels you get on a Roku so would be worth checking out before you commit to buying. Where have you seen Sky offering the sports package for £15? I thought you could only buy a 24 hour pass for £...

Re: MLB.TV 2014 on the Roku

I've been switching between the Rays-Sox and the Dodgers-Twins games. First time i've been able to watch a game since they updated the app. First off i should say i am in the UK and i tend to watch the afternoon (US time) because of the time difference. I only have a download speed of around 5M but...

Re: UK Roku Amazon Instant Video player

I too got that email this morning. However the channel isn't listed in the channels section on my Roku 3, nor can I add the channel via the page that is opened from the email. So I assume they are having issues :-/. Good to see it's finally coming to Roku in the UK though :). Not had the email from...

Re: MLB.TV 2014 on the Roku

Has anyone heard if the spring training games will be available on the Roku this season? I was looking at the MLB.TV 2014 spring training broadcast schedule ( http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/official_info/broadcasts/spring_mlbtv.jsp ) and it says: Watch select Spring Training Games LIVE on your Mac, PC, Rok...

Re: Potential Purchaser (UK)

Amazon Instant Film, or LoveFilm as I still know it as, is not available on the Roku in the UK. There has been talk of this coming to the UK Roku store since the device was launched in the UK some two years ago, but it has yet to make an appearance. As i have said before on this forum, given Sky's h...

4OD in the UK Channel Store

At last this channel is available to UK users. Now all that is needed now is ITV Player and LoveFilm and the Roku could corner the streaming market in the UK.

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere else, but just noticed when watching Netflix that this feature has finally been made available for UK users. :D

Re: Movie rentals on Roku

I don't think there are any Roku channels here in the UK which offer a rental service. They are all subscription services.

Re: How register my NowTV Box (UK)?

Although the Nowtv box is essentially the Roku LT box you don't get access to all the channels available on a Roku in the UK and can't register it through the Roku website. You get BBC iplayer, Sky News and Demand 5 plus some other but you don't get Netflix as this a direct competitor to Sky.

Re: Cloud Movies channel

I was looking at this channel earlier but don't want to subscribe until i can see what films they offer. Couldn't even find a website for the company so will probably give it a miss unless anyone can point me in the right direction.

Re: Formula 1

Not unless you are willing to pay £9.99 to watch on a sky sports day pass. Personally i would listen to it on the radio and watch the highlights on BBC rather than pay that.
