Re: Hulu trying an ad free tier

I'd stick with the lower-priced, ad-supported package. My superpower is the ability to not get all worked up over commercials. In fact, sometimes, I see something I like, and am glad I saw the ad. Not often, though. I can certainly see the appeal it would have for some people. Just not me. What par...

Re: Questions regarding roku streaming stick

This should be in the package, but isn't... if you're not using it, you should be: https://www.roku.com/support-hdmi A Roku 3 vs a Roku Stick? There's a David and Goliath story if I ever heard one. A Stick is a David, the '3' is Goliath and yep... ain't no little guy gonna kick any giant's butt with...

Re: Oh No! ESPN may leave SlingTV.

While your stabbing the guy in line in front you you so you can take his place to shove your money into the Big Cable Repository, don't forget we have a space craft en route to Pluto for a fly-by. Oh, I know it's not nearly as interesting as 'Operation Repo' for 15 bucks a month with forced advertis...

Re: Oh No! ESPN may leave SlingTV.

Heck, some coaches might even have to go back to making a measly seven-figure income. Fat chance... they've got you guys standing in line to pay for watching forced advertising - and advertising how absolutely wonderful it is. Big Cable and every one/thing that benefits in that 'trickle-down' Niagr...

Re: Plex forums have been hacked: And now they're back!!

Hummmm... I changed my username for Plex.tv and as a result of what is probably operator error, my username on the forum is that new username. My post count is the same as before and all my previous posts now show my new username. But how will all those hot Plex Forum Wimmen find me now? LOL! It wil...

Re: Plex forums appear to have been hacked

I installed LastPass. Even with their latest difficulties they're still high on the list of desirable programs - and free.... kinda redundant actually. I changed strong passwords to stronger passwords for just about everything and my problem with Max was due to Rockstar Games being stupid to operate...

Re: Plex forums appear to have been hacked

I have made a sweep of everything that's 'sensitive' with password changes because as I have said various accounts have been under attack. Nothing has been compromised it's just the annoyance of somebody recently (like since the Plex Hack) trying to access my accounts with my Plex password. It hasn'...

Re: Plex forums appear to have been hacked

Oh yea... so much for all those Plex forum posts my original username made (if we ever see Plex Forums again in our lifetime).

Too bad the hands of time can't be reset as easily on my wrinkled a$$.

Re: Plex forums appear to have been hacked

I am suffering some rather 'severe' effects apart from those you mention. I am getting messages about failed attempts to access various accounts - by entering the wrong password enough times to trigger the autoshutdown mode (temporarily, I hope) one of which is my inability to Play Max Payne 3 at th...

Re: YouTube responds to "New Roku Youtube channel is garbage

I am able to shut off auto play on my Apple TV on the Youtube app. Whats up Roku? If apple can do it why cant you? Two observations: 1) Google wrote the app. So, any feature you don't like is because of Google. 2) Mine doesn't autoplay. Maybe I don't know what you mean by "autoplay." Play...

Re: Why can't I use Plex it to port shows to my Roku?

What bugs are you talking about in the Fire TV Plex app? I rarely use my Fire TV for anything as I find it clumsy and basically just hard to use but I do not find the Plex app any worse than any other on the Fire when I do use it. There's your problem... True... Roku/Plex works... just works... I w...
