As you say, I *re* applied the same URL and then after restarting the radio, it was fine. Most odd...

Re: Planet Rock out of orbit

Ah - I've found a page on RR.com which does show the URL - and it says the same thing.

Most odd. All my other stations are fine.

Re: Planet Rock out of orbit

ccomley, Planet Rock has been updated and should play again on your SoundBridge. Greetings dupondt But it doesn't. I've tried telling RadioRoku.com to re-create the Preset but it still doesn't play. Anyone know what the URL should be now?? It's a pity RadioRoku doesn't tell you this under "sta...

Planet Rock out of orbit

MY SB Radio has in the last six months or so * stopped picking up Planet Rock. I've checked on RadioRoku but it doesn't change the URL so I'm baffled... (I don't know exactly when it failed coz the radio is in my holiday house, one visit it was fine, the next visit - nada. All other stations are wor...

2-year warranty for R1000 power-supply-related issues

NICE!!!

But

- are they replacing the failed PSUs with new units that will also fail or have they upgraded the design of the unit?
- how long is the replaced/repair warranty?

DigiVidplayer -what *is* it?

Sorry if this is FAQ but 1) Is this a video player capable of talking to a local media streamer (e.d. Mediabolic) or is it ONLY capable of linking to the commercial internet sources named in the advert. 2) Is it based on a "common" chip? I bought a Zyxel DMA1000 and it works ut has a few s...

Yay I have just returned from our regular summer visit to our house in France and we had UK radio play every day thanks to the Roku Radio and the new PSU fitted to it by g0pkh of this forum. What's more, it now picks up BBC stations and it didn't before! So I'm well chuffed and much as I think Roku ...

Appreciate the feedback. I have tried about 10times and the beta software failed to download and update. I believe this unit is faulty. So all I have to do now is send it back to US all the way from Singapore nd pay another 50 bucks for the mail... Way to go Roku!!! Cem Was this a NEW radio or seco...

Rights and Responsibilities.

OK, given the power supply problems are by now Very Well Known I suppose it's reasonable to assume that the manufacture OUGHT to do something about it. But since they won't, then I guess if ANY psu fails we all ougth to be able to force the retailer to take the unit back as "not fit for the pur...

There *is* display. It died as if the pwoer had been cut - had the lights not stayed on I'd have gone to check the circuit breaker. Then it reboots - quite normal display, splash, then seeks WiFi, then says its looking for the radio channel,. etc... until it dies again... I'll ask the nice man to ha...

Thanks - checked it out. Had not previosuly seen the "tabletop" avanti version. Having browsed both flow fora, I'm disappointed that it looks lke Pure have missed a few tricks with the Avanit- it would be poised to take the SBR market but reports suggest it's needing a few bints upwards in...

Pure Evoke Flow

If my SBRadio *is* dead (see other thread) and Roku/Pinnacle won't help out, then I'm buggered if they get any more of my cash. My *home* radio is DAB, not Internet (er - well, I have a M1000 in the lounge, but a DAB portable) and it's a Pure Evoke 3 which is a *very* good piece of kit. My only peev...

>The answer appears to be "SBR doesn't support 802.11g". I believe that all of the SB devices are B only. So you need to run in B mode or mixed (which it sounds like did not work for you). Confirmed - Mixed-mode didn't work. I have often found this. I was surprised that the SBR didn't sup...

I went through major aggro when I got my first SBridge M1000. Eventually got it working successfully with Firefly but it wasn't pretty there for a while. So, two years later, when I'm test driving a Thecus N299 for a client, I'm dead impressed to see it just plain *appear* on the M1000's menu and, w...
