Adjusting monitor display when Mirroring

My son is using Roku Screen Mirroring to extend his laptop screen (running Windows 10) to a TV monitor. The screen display is too large on the TV monitor, so that the taskbar is off the screen to the left and only the top half of the icons on the taskbar are showing. His laptop displays at 1920 x 10...

Re: Future feature request

I believe battery life is the hold back.  That argument is debatable though: having backlighting active for a few seconds when you press a 'wake up' button wouldn't drain that much.  But that functionality adds cost to the remote, so... I agree completely. You could buy a third-party vendor program...

Re: Roku 3 (4200) vs Roku Streaming Stick + (3810)

As my signature indicates, I own a 2017 Ultra, a 2017 Streaming Stick +, and a 3. My primary reason for upgrading was the remotes, in particular their ability to control the TV’s power and volume. My eye test tells me that the picture quality and loading response is slightly better, but the 3 is fin...

Re: EbruTV

Apparently, Ebru TV no longer exists, even though it’s website is still running, having been shut down by the Turkish government in 2016.

Re: EbruTV

I used to watch Ebru TV as well. It had several good programs. It suddenly stopped working on the Roku about four years ago. I just reloaded it from the Roku channel store (yes, it’s still an official Roku channel), but it still doesn’t stream, kicking out when one clicks to watch live TV. I contact...

Re: decades channel

There are or were a few other OTAs with Roku channels, but none of them have significant broadcast markets other than Comet (I'm excluding shopping and religious OTA networks, many of which have Roku channels): AMG TV  (general entertainment - It used to have a few classic TV shows, but I uninstalle...

I'll bring this up with people in charge of the app. It's a great suggestion!

Re: Deleting Deactivated Rokus from iPhone App

Well, I followed atc98092 and Basil's advice, deleting the Roku app from my iPhone, reinstalling it, and having it scan for available Rokus on our home network. That did the trick. It still seems like a half-a** way to delete deactivated Rokus. Hopefully, Roku will fix this before I upgrade again (p...

Re: iPad or laptop to tv

I have a subscription to exercise videos that I access through a browser on either my iPad or Windows 10 laptop.  Is it possible to mirror or cast these videos wirelessly to my TV through Roku Premiere+? I use iWebTV (which is available in the Roku Channel Store and the app for wh...

Please add a readily apparent means to delete deactivated Roku devices from showing up in the Roku iPhone app.

Your best bet might be to offer feedback through the App Store.

Yeah, I've done that. I've also added it to the "Feature Requests - First Quarter 2018" topic.

Re: Deleting Deactivated Rokus from iPhone App

Removing the app from your iOS device and re-adding it is the only way I've found to clear out devices. As a bit of information, the device keeps not only the devices tied to your account, but any device you connect to. For example, if you're at a friend's house, and you connect to his Roku, it wil...

Re: Deleting Deactivated Rokus from iPhone App

One way would be to uninstall the app and then reinstall, but I know that's a pain. I'm not on my home network right now, so I can't get to any of the settings on my phone app. It's trying to find my players when they aren't here. :) I've actually considered that already, but that sure would be a c...

Deleting Deactivated Rokus from iPhone App

I just deactivated three older Rokus which I then sold. They no longer show in my account, but are still present (grayed out) in the iPhone Roku app. I'd like to remove them, but don't know how. I found a forum topic on this for Android, but not for the iPhone, and I see no way in the Roku app setti...

Re: Is there ANY remote in the Roku lineup that has a mute button

I agree that adding a mute would be a nice addition.  As it is, I just turn the volume all the way down when I need to mute it. Clunky, but it works. I definitely vote for them to add a mute button on the remotes.
