Re: Larger text, single line display on M2000?

Dear Les,

THANKS SOOOO MUCH! I figured there had to be a way, considering the time is in large font. You have added substantially to my enjoyment of experience with this unit.

:D :D :!:

Larger text, single line display on M2000?

I did searches but didn't find anything relating to this so I am posting a question here. I apologize if this is a repeat of an earlier post subject. I have my SB across the room sitting on top of my LCD tv, and I am running Jamcast. I have a small problem (pardon the pun.) Since the display on the ...

M2000 for sale?

That's cool! :P for you, :( for me. One good thing is it's not going into some landfill  or something as they are hard to come by and the supply is getting smaller . I'll have to keep watch on eBay. Shouting out to everyone else out there, if you have a SoundBridge (not the radio), and w...

M2000 for sale?

Hey there AmazinglySmooth, I already own one of the M2000s and would love to have another. You can look me up and many know me here on the forums as the person who was able to get working and post detailed instructions on how to use the Oddcast/Icecast combination to serve music played on a PC acros...

...I went to http://www.download.com/IDT-High-Definition-Audio-CODEC/3000-2110_4-197119.html where I download the pack and installed it. The stereo mix finally worked. This combined with Jamcast and your detailed instructions and SEVERAL REBOOTS of Soundbridge, well something finally fell into plac...

re: Can't get mp3 as an option for oddcast

Jgloates, were you referring to the instructions to use Oddcast/Icecast? If so, the problem could be the codec, since it was written for WinXP, but that was before Vista. Do a google for MP3 Codec Vista, and see what you can find. Otherwise, give Jamcast a try. I actually like Jamcast FAR BETTER tha...

Server to stream ANYTHING to the SoundBridge

Well folks, I once - long ago submitted a lengthy method for streaming audio to the SoundBridge, and it worked for most everybody. Still, there were a few that didn't have sound cards that properly provided a connection for the OddCast/IceCast combination to see properly. Fast forward to 2009... One...

The setup I describe can play any audio source that comes over your PC speakers as a stream that can be played on the SoundBridge.

To (Sir) Fox Kat, This thread is kind-of becoming your fan club (?!) but I've just picked up a really cheap SoundBridge and got a streaming pile of Pandora running (as per your instructions) in about half-an-hour. Thanks again for sorting out the technical means to do it, and taking the time to pos...

Possible word of warning....I too was streaming mms: from my computer with WME earlier, but found that with the latest beta firmware for the soundbridge, my WME streams stopped working. Have seen others complaining about some mms: streams not working with the beta, so I'm assuming it's a known prob...

Tomobm I just don't get it with that laptop. EVERY sound card thst can play to speakers should show a port for the speakers or "line out", typically labeled as mentioned. I can't be sure, but I think it has to be a driver issue. I would be interested in trying to troubleshoot myself throug...

Yep! That pesky dynamic IP assignment. Well, I am glad it's working for everyone. I will continue to monitor as others try, and will use both my experience and that of the most recent troubleshooters to resolve.

Enjoy!
