I still can't get Radio Roku to properly communicate with my SB, but the SB-sync program was exactly what I was looking for. I just took the time to manually reprogram everything, and now I know I won't have to repeat the exercise with every firmware update. My thanks to Felix (and for amdb7 for poi...

Well, that is a step in the right direction. Firefox can now see the Roku and will show the Now Playing status. However, it still cannot add or change a preset. IE has exactly the same functionality it did before. From what I've read it seems that flexbridge pulls its data from RadioRoku, so it will...

Restoring presets

I am trying to restore my presets after a software upgrade [mini rant: Can anyone explain to me why my presets get wiped clean after every upgrade? Even though I can restore the internet radio presets through radioroku (usually) the playlist presets have to be restored manually every time.] I...

Today's iTunes announcements

From the Soundbridge FAQ: Apple does not allow streaming of files downloaded from their music store to third party devices. If they ever do, we will support them. The intertubes are abuzz that the iTunes store will now be mostly DRM free. I assume this means that our SoundBridges will now stream iTu...

I'll go ahead and answer my own question here. I finally got around to installing TVersity, and as far as I can tell, it works flawlessly with both the SB and the PS3. Granted, I haven't had a chance to actually use it (I've just checked that both units detect the server and can see my files), but t...

PS3/Soundbridge shared server

I've been having problems getting WMP11 to recognize my new PS3 (it just doesn't see it on the network), so I'm looking for a server program that I can use for both the soundbridge and the PS3. (To be honest, I don't really need the PS3 when I have the soundbridge, but it bugs me that I have a media...

These troubles sound familiar. I had to input my network adapter and soundbridge manually into snooper, but I never got it to detect anything. I even tried positive controls such as somafm.com and club977. When I set the "protocal filter" to "show all" it picked up a website I wa...

I'm also having trouble getting snooper to work. I don't have ie7, and I had to manually enter my SB IP number and network adaptor. After hitting the "sniff" button I've recieved 149 packets in about 5-10 minutes, but I don't see anything suggesting it found a radio station. Here's a brief...
