I'm not sure we need to do the load balancing since i'm using only one wowza server to provide the HLS stream. Also how do I reduce the bitrate for the stream?

Sorry essentially we have a HLS encrypted string but the encrypted key location is defined by a custom URL scheme. so when the player intercepts the encrypted stream and see's the custom url it processes it and uses the resulting key to play the Encrypted HLS Stream.

Custom Protocol Handling

Is there a way to handle custom protocol's in Roku. Essentially what I am looking for is a way for to intercept a URL within the m3u8 request and have it perform an action when Roku encounters that URI.

Is there a way to tell roku roVideoPlayer to only play one chunk at a time instead of buffer and play?

Thanks in the ended I used images and drew them on the image canvas to act like a seek bar.

Hi I have a videoplayer app requesting HLS streams from a wowza server. the issue i'm encountering is that the videoplayer buffers a certain amount of chunks during the stream and stops requesting for any more additional chunks for a prolong period of time. Right now i have a Videoplayer that is being rendered on an Image Canvas the issue is I need a seekbar very similiar to the roVideoScreen but the videoplayer does not have one. ParseJson does not handle negative numbers

Has anyone encountered an issue where the parsejson method when it parses out a Json integer that is a negative value it forces it as a positive value? so for example i have this json string

{test: -1} but when i run the parse json on it the value of test = 1 instead of -1?
