nothing to see, move along

Looks like this thing requires another PC with the ability to stream throught another piece of software (playon or tversity). Beauty of Roku is that no PC is required to watch Netflix, period. I think roku needs to get on it before they are lost in all the bluray players and tvs that can do the same...

Regarding the update.rok not working, the most likely reason is that the "safe boot" mode firmware on your unit does not support the CF flash card you are using. We have made changes to improve the CF card compatibility since the unit was manufactured, which is why the shell method works ...

Updating problem

I cannot get my BrightSign unit to update using the "update.rok" method as stated in the manual. When I first received the unit it had a 1.0.62 firmware and I had to use the upgrade command from the shell to get it to 1.0.63. Now with the 1.0.63 firmware I'm still having the same problem t...
