Re: PORNHUB DOWN

I did not know that there are a bunch of private adult channels for Roku. I am still surprised they are allowed on Roku. Maybe it is only pirated material that they get rid of.

Re: Screen mirroring not working

I have the Chromecast app on both my Win 7 laptop and my old son's Chromebook. It works better on the Chromebook, less delay and not as glitchy.

Re: Screen mirroring not working

Roku's screen mirroring, I rarely get it to work. For casting I just use the Cromecast. Much easier.

Re: PORNHUB DOWN

When I saw Pornhub listed as a private channel, I was surprised that it would be allowed on Roku. It does not surprise me it may be gone. Roku wants a family friendly environment.

Re: Mirroring from the Roku Express+

I have two Express+. One is the 3710 and the other 3900. But the 3900 is connected to an older TV w/o the HDMI input. Thanks for the reply.

Mirroring from the Roku Express+

I have an Express+ and I have been trying to mirror my Laptop (Google or Firefox) to the Roku. It doesn't seem to find anything. Under devices, it says "none" and a message under that saying always blocked devices.  Why would it say that, if the feature is available. Any idea if this featu...

Re: Roku vs Chromecast

The Chromecast has another advantage; at least for me. I have the Fire TV and it has two different browsers, Silk & Firefox. Both are fine except for one thing. Often on some apps, when I use a browser (no official channel for Fire TV available), I can be watching the app and it will kick off an...

Re: Roku vs Chromecast

I am fortunate to have cable internet here (100 down). No DSL here. Anyway way too slow and not that much less. I pay $65 a month for Spectrum, but DSL is about $45 for 20 down, if the person is lucky. in the areas where available some people complain about when there are too many using DSL getting ...

Re: Couldn't Add Netflix! Not Enough Space please remove channel.

I do not own a Roku TV, but I have never run into a limit on a Roku player. At one time I had (would you believe?) over 1100 channels on my Roku LT. It slowed down a lot, but the channel apps still worked. When I first got my Roku LT, I was like a kid in a candy store and added about anything that w...

Re: Sideload Showbox?

As others have stated that there is no side loading on the Roku. Too many complaints about pirate channels, so Roku is not going to open that door. If you want to side load get a Android box or on the inexpensive side, a Fire stick. Amazon allows you to side load. But be careful and stay away from p...

Re: Roku vs Chromecast

I have several Roku's, a couple Fire TV's, and a Chromecast. All three have their advantages. My favorite is Roku as there are so many services. The Fire TV units have browsers, so if a channel app is not available you can view it from a browser. There are a lot of stuff that streams on the internet...

Re: DailyMotion

Interesting, as it is fine on my Fire TV. I wonder if Roku dropped the channel for some reason?

DailyMotion

I have not been on the DailyMotion Channel app for sometime. I checked both yesterday and today and it doesn't work on my Roku. I went over to my Fire Stick and checked and the app is still working there. Doesn't the Roku DailyMotion app no longer work on Roku?  Thanks.

Re: [Official] OS 9.1 Release Notes

I still do not have the 9.1 update on neither of the Roku Express+ as yet either.
