To Roku development team...

Hoi Roku Development Team. I'm following the betas since 13 months now, and I'm very impressed of the many good and new features. The only thing I wonder about is if old feature requests are still on your minds... During the last year I've sold dozens of HDs (and many SBs, too!). Most of my customer...

How can I access the HD1000's flash-cards...

Hoi everybody! I need a solution for accessing the HD1000's volumes from a windows pc. I want to access the files stored on flashcards and in the built-in memory from my windows workstation, and I want to be able to store and delete files there. If there's no built-in option to do this, does anybody...

Hoi soiaf. Thanks for your reply. I have significant problems usind Sonica with my 150.000+ mp3files, and I like the clearly arranged look of the built-in player, so I'm not using Sonica. To be honest: I didn't manage to get it running only one time. (on the complete library! :( ) After reading the ...

Help needed to implement font with german umlaut

Hi everyone. I need a little help on how to get and implement a font that supports german umlaut (üöä = ue, oe, ae) and other special characters like ß (= double-s). I find it very annoying that the file-listings (i.e. in sonata mp3-player) are ruined by these stupid boxes the hd uses instead of...

Thanks for the reply.

Because there are BBC 6 and 7 as preset in the SB I wondered if there's a way to get the other BBcs running.

I'm reseller for Roku in Germany.
My information is as follows (from the european importer):

Roku has changed manufacturer for HD1500 and will not be able to deliver units to germany/europe before February 2006.

Tibor, there are some things you can check if any of the devices in your home-hifi/home-cinema system is making "noises": - If you're using a power-cord/extension with high-frequency-filter: replace it with one without filters. - If you're using an external power-supply for any of your devices, ensu...

Re: A Boobie-trapped question!

You forgot Gigabit Ethernet (and I suppose someone here is really hard core and has 10GE)! I didn't forget it as such. I just rolled it into wired Ethernet. I guess this is okay, because 1000Mbit/s switches are always capable of handling a 100 or 10 Mbit/s connection, without slowing down th...

My comments on this: Wired Ethernet is a MUST, Wireless is very interesting, but then 802.11g with WPA encryption is mandatory! Slowing down your existing 54M network to 11M just to be able to connect a RADIO, or buying and setting up a secondary wireless "b" network, is ridiculous :( Others, like "...
