Re: 2015 Roku 2 and Roku 3 specs

I noticed that the model number on the new Roku 2 is now in the 4200 range, and is 4210, is it essentially the old Roku 3? Ref Model 4210: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/roku-2-streaming-player-black/4489029.p?id=1219630508241&skuId=4489029 Also, looks like the new model number for the Roku 3 is 42...

2015 Roku 2 and Roku 3 specs

I would assume the new Roku 2 and Roku 3 are considered a new generational family for those lines of Roku's.

What is new from the developers perspective? Are there Voice Search API's? And can we get the specs for them updated on the SDK docs site?

Thanks in advance. :)

Re: Trying to learn "m", need conceptual help

That is probably the best summary I have seen Mark. It might be worth adding it to section 4.11 of the Language Ref.

I was just describing this yesterday to a co-worker, and did not do it as gracefully as your post. :)

Current Firmware rev for 3100R or 2400R

Hi All, Does anyone happen to know what the current firmware revision is on either the 3100R or 2400R? I need to get a device running v6.1 Build 5605, and not Build 5610. I know for sure the 3100X has the correct firmware, but I don't have one in my possession, and I can't seem to find anything othe...

Yeah, it's back up. It was at least a half hour though.

Hi Joel, for the most part I think if you replaced observe with honor I think we are on the same page.

Not sure why it didn't click yesterday, but it did today after your hint. Thanks.

Re: TextureManager + Alpha

So, I answered by own question, So I thought I would post my findings. Alpha channels are supported through the TextureManager, that actually wasn't my problem. I was also experimenting with the Compositor at the same time. I switched to using an roScreen instead, and everything lit up, and the Alph...

TextureManager + Alpha

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to enable the Alpha Channel for a PNG with the TextureManager? Or do we need to handle this case manually?

Thanks,
Matt
