Re: I Can't Confirm the 2 gig Limit

I currently have no files between 2 gig and 4 gig. All of my HD recordings are more than 4 gig and all of my SD recordings are less than 2 gig. I will start a recording and allow it to record until it is greater than 2 but less than 4 gigs. To try and nail it down. Just stupid on my part to assume ...

mythroku still works for me and my backend is reporting protocol version 31 like you mentioned. Are you sure mythroku won't work?

I see they have dropped the price on the Radio already. I don't know what others think but if roku emailed me a personal coupon to buy the radio for $199 I might forgive them for screwing me on the HD1000.

They know who we are if you registered your product with them.

I can currently play these files with Mplay. Will the UPNP support in Myth .20 allow me to see the real program names "The Unit" not something like 2013_20060606180000.mpg.

Thanks for the insight.

I'm 99% sure yes.

Re: Is MythRoku dead as well as the HD1000 ?

I have been using my Roku for two years. I routinely use Mplay for DVD playback and previously used MythRoku to playback recorded programs from my Myth server. MythRoku has not been updated to work with Myth .19 and Myth .20 is just around the corner and I will total loose the functionality of the ...

No, I called Dan Smart a cry baby because he's complaining and whining about something after every single post he makes. The bottom line was they probably didn't sell much of the Photobrigde products. It was what, $450? For a couple hundred bucks more I can buy a Mac Mini with a dual core Intel chi...

Re: Photobridge users looking for love...

Dan "Cry Baby" Smart Wel count me as a disgruntled cry baby then!! You know I bought an M500 after I bought my HD1000 because at the time it looked like Roku was a good Company. A company that finished what they started and stood behind their products. Well I couldn't have been more wrong...

Changes to the PhotoBridge line Roku is no longer carrying the PhotoBridge HD1000 and HD1500 products. Stay tuned for new product announcements in the PhotoBridge line in early 2007. If you are a current PhotoBridge customer looking for support, you’re in the right place! [/i] Wow! So that to me ...

Possible alternative

I know we shouldn't talk about other products on this forum but I don't think this will be around much longer and I'd like to keep in touch with everyone here. ;-) Buffalo has a product called the Link Theatre, having looked at the current implementation I think I'm still happier with my HD1000. But...

DVD Decryptor will work if you then post process the rip with VOBBlanker. I ripped the movie in File mode and selected ALL Files. Then load it into VOBBlanker and process all.

I'll have to look into DVD Fab thing to see if that works better.

This could be another approach as well

I grabbed this off the MythTv Devel mailing list.. I may have to setup another Myth server from SVN to try this out on the Roku. David Blain to mythtv-dev Jun 6 (1 day ago) For those not monitoring the commit list - *I would be interested if someone with an Xbox 360 could test to see if the ...

I think the reason I did this was because everytime I switched folders it caused a flash on the screen. If this is no longer happening then I would switch it to true random behavior.

I haven't used this script myself in a while. I may experiment some this weekend.

I believe the roku requires all apps to have a .roku extension in order to be run from it.
