Each mp3 file has a 'hidden' ID tag which stores information such as Artist, Album, Genre etc. The Soundbridge finds it's information from the tag, not from the filename. You will also find that Roku shipping charges are ridiculously high. I wanted to buy a new power adapter for $9.99, but the shipping charge was $34!

This is just to confirm that the Roku will function independant of a computer. It connects directly to your wireless router. The Roku Soundbridge needs to be plugged into a stereo system.
