Re: Internet browsing

I've read that internet browser is in the works, what's the timeframe for that update? Where'd you read that? There is an app called VncSix (see the Third-Party forum) that is coded in such a way as to make it easier to use the browser on your computer via VNC, but I'm not aware of any web browsers...

I went out and bought that linksys bridge. Looks like kaka-pupu but at least it works i guess. Maybe you could compile the kernel with the newer USB driver for next release. USB device is 1/2 price of a bridge and isnt as ugly. Thanks, Kurt kbra, kaka-pupu? I must have chuckled for ten minutes. Cam...

Re: Daylight savings time

I have found that the delete problem is most likely an issue with Daylight savings. Basically if I set the time zone to Indiana (EST) then the delete works. But if I set it to EDT its off by an hour and hence won't work. The Myth Server has its timezone set to EDT. Wow leenuxg33k, Thanks!, That see...

Camino, Not sure I can help on the delete at the moment. We'll have to look into it some more. But there is another release coming soon that starts putting episode information in the browser-- starting to look a bit more professional. However, this line of code from myth doesn't work on the roku-- ...

No, I don't think its cached. What happens is mythroku is creating a filename based on its clock, and its not matching on the myth server. try something to see what you find: 1) telnet into the roku and simply type "date" 2) telnet or ssh into your mythbackend and also type "date" Are the results t...

Glad it is working for you CaminoFrancisco! With .28 make sure the timezone is set correctly (daylight savings and all) and matches the configuration of the mythbackend timezone. If they differ, the file name will be different for the delete command, and the command is ignored. Check your mythbacke...

Okay, In the new version the PCDHTV HD3000 is treated as a DVB card and MythTV defaults to reincooding it into a Program Stream. There is a checkbox in the advanced menu on the DVB configuration screen that allow MythTV to keep the stream as Transport. It works to my other PCs right now, I will tes...

Hmmm. If you hadn't upgraded, I'd say it was an MPEG4 file you had selected, but based on the upgrade, I'm guessing its a change to the myth protocol. I'll have to upgrade my servers and then see what breaks! Not sure when, though (today or tomorrow). Thanks, Brad Here is the telnet output... About...
