I had the same problem until I enabled broadcasting on my router settings, then connected, then disabled broadcasting after I was all set up.

Has Roku ever acknowledged that there may likely be a bad component in the SB Radio power supply (capacitor)? Seems like quite a few posts concerning this cap. I definitely don't want to place a financial burden on Roku, but is it unreasonable to recall the units and install the correct capacitor? S...

There are different instructions for different type of units but the instructions are clear.

Also, is your router set up to "broadcast" your network? I had to allow it to broadcast the network so the SB would see it - then I connected and changed the router's setting back to the non-broadcast mode. Good luck

I have also upgraded to the newest version of iTunes (7.6 I believe). Everything still works fine. But can you get them all synced up? Or is that important?

I had the same problem, except BOTH soundbridges would disappear from network places but would otherwise work fine. I finally gave up worrying about why they didn't show up and just enjoyed them! But it is a mystery!

I'm using iTunes version 7.5 with no problems.

still had two R1000 radios on the shelf for $229 !! No M1001's as far as I could see.

Wonder why they're not carrying them anymore. That's a little concerning - of course I always go straight for the conspiracy theory.

So how can we check to adjust these settings if that's what we want to do?

Time consuming, but I burned CDs of the Itunes store purchased music, then reloaded them on iTunes. Now they play.
