Hello Kim, Please tell us how your M1001 is connected to your network. Do you have it connected via an ethernet cable or are you using wireless? How is the Firefly server connected to your router: via wire or wireless? How is the iTunes server connected to your router: via wire or wireless? If you a...

FYI...I wasn't suggesting Shoutcast as a server. I was suggesting it as a source for valid, working radio URLs that can be stored as playlist entries on whatever media server you want, and/or as a source of working URLs to store as SoundBridge presets.

May I also suggest http://www.shoutcast.com which has a huge variety of radio stations. I've found it to be a great source of radio URLs. When you find one and click Tune In the first time, it will ask whether you want to use your default player or the Shoutcast player. If you select your default pl...

My goodness there are a lot of whiners about Radio Roku and the fact that they had a hardware failure. May I point out a few things: 1. The SoundBridge devices can access your music server all day long playing your music library without any requirement for Radio Roku. 2. The SoundBridge allows you t...

to be able to tune to internet radio WITHOUT a computer being on. If I get a whim to listen to some new and obscure radio stream I should be able to do so without having to put it in my favorites. That's why the SoundBridge has 18 Presets. Take 18 of your favorite stations and put the URLs for thos...

Two more suggestions: 1. Disable security on your wireless network via your router's settings, and see what happens. 2. Connect everything via ethernet...your iTunes server and your SoundBridges. Remove power cable from the SoundBridges, connect ethernet cable, repower SoundBridges. Power cycle your...

I have a suggestion: Instead of closing and opening iTunes, try this. Go to Edit Preferences Sharing tab Uncheck the box "Share my library on my local network" Click OK. Then, repeat it to turn sharing back on: Edit Preferences Sharing Check the box to share library Click OK. See if the So...

Another option: I have used this very good freeware tool called SB-Sync written by member fm.72 to back up and synchronize the presets among my multiple SoundBridges, and I use Radio Roku for the Favorites. Still downloadable from: http://www.justmytwocents.de/SB-sync/SB-syncSetup.exe Original Roku ...

...and the 13-character WEP Open System password should be in Key 1 on the router.

And, just to be clear, the SB can't see the network at all, i.e., can't access internet radio as well as can't see your music server, right?

When using wireless, try these things: - have the router broadcast the SSID so that the SB sees it - try setting the router for different channels for the wireless frequency - every time you make a change or try it again, remove power from the SB each time for a full reboot - make sure router is not...

When I acquired additional SoundBridges, I seem to remember that they had V2.4 firmware on them, and it was a multiple step process to get to 3.0.44. I think I had to do a 2.4 to 2.7, restart, and do 2.7 to 3.0.44. How many times have you tried this? Have you tried sending an email to support@rokula...
