Can your SB get on the network and find your music server when both are connected to your router via ethernet ports on back of the Zoom?

Is the Zoom's UPnP support enabled?

After writing down your settings, have you tried a full factory reset of the Zoom?

Well, two forward one back is still some progress, right? One more suggestion: Get a copy of the Roku Control Protocol Functional Specification from http://www.rokulabs.com/community/documentsSoundBridgeRCPSpecification2-4.pdf Starting around page 33 of that document, it tells how you can configure ...

Also, while you're trying to determine whether your remote control is working or not, I might suggest that you can control your SB via the excellent SoundBridge Commander. It does everything the remote control does and more.

If the SoundBridge has power attached, and has been issued an address by the DHCP server on your network, then it will be reachable on the network no matter whether the display shows anything and the remote control works or not. Access your router so that you can determine the IP address that was is...

Come on, you really can't know his intellectual prowess. ;-) He was probably looking for a quick answer. The guy's got a radio station going that works with the SoundBridge...as a community shouldn't we embrace that, and try to have him think of us as good Joes? ...of course, that's just my opinion....

I use the SoundBridge toslink digital output to feed a Pioneer VSX-36TX for radio and accessing Firefly/SqueezeCenter/Foobar2000 servers. Try a single RCA coax (non-optical) connection from the orange digital output of the SoundBridge to an available coax digital input on your Pioneer receiver. This...

Glad you got it to work. I'll try Tagscanner, thanks. Getting tags consistent on my music is a project that I never seem to get around to. Since we're on the topic of great software: I highly recommend Foobar2000 as a music player and library manager, and it has tagging capabilities too, that I have...

Sorry to hear you've had trouble with Firefly. I started using the SVN-1586 build of FF on Windows and it has been pretty solid for me. If you're running something newer than that, like SVN-1696, try going back to 1586. I had problems with 1696 but I can't recall what they were. http://nightlies.fir...

I use SB Commander, which I think is a great app. I have Firefly, FUPPES, and Slimserver running and available to my SoundBridges. When I use SB Commander, the Search tab only seems to function when I'm connected to my Firefly server. If I click the Search tab, then "Search for Artists", &...

Good point, it wouldn't be simple, that's for sure. Several manufacturers would have to agree to open-source some code. FYI, here is Analog Devices' case study about the development of the SoundBridge: http://www.analog.com/en/embedded-processing-dsp/blackfin/processors/customer-case-studies/roku_ne...

Glad it worked for you. Deities aren't my thing, but thanks for the wishes! I'll simply hope that the Roku "powers that be" eventually decide to open-source the code that runs in these great little cylinders so that the user community can provide enhancements and support once Roku has give...

I'm posting my somewhat similar situation in hopes that it may help you. If you're using wireless, use WEP "Open System" authentication so that your M2000 will work. ---- Roku Customer Care Ticket #: HD151118 Hello Bill Thank you for your interest in the Roku Products. Please see your ques...

I think you may be able to do what you want. SoundBridge supports the SqueezeCenter as a server, and the SqueezeCenter has a synchronization function: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Synchronization I have successfully connected my SoundBridges to SqueezeCenter on my network, and I liked the e...

I do not.

You could always just run some kind of Windows emulation on your Mac, just so you could run SB-sync! :-)

Here are some solutions:

You might find this great little program helpful to keep a backup of your presets that you could restore to the SB in case it happens again, or to sync presets among several SBs. Works great for me. -------------- fm.72 Joined: 11 Nov 2005 Posts: 89 Location: Frankfurt / Main, Germany PostPosted: Sa...
