Thanks for the tip. I just replaced one of my presets with RFC.

I noticed that I had another classic rock station set as a preset that also streams at 192 kbps:

My M1000 and M1001s behave exactly the same way when they have been unpowered, then I plug them into wall power:

I see Roku, M1000 or M1001, Let the music play, Standby, then dark.

I press the power button on the remote, and the unit lights up and plays music.

After it boots, unless you have it set differently, it goes to the last state it was in. So if the last state was Standby, once it boots up, it goes to Standby.

Let it boot. Let it go to Standby. Press the power button once on the remote.

What happens?

Something else to consider, that I've never tried:

a simple Y-adapter on the coaxial digital output...one leg to your first digital amp and the second leg to your other amp.

I haven't tried that, but I have observed that the analog output is driven along with the digital output. If both the optical and coax digital outputs are not driven simultaneously,
I would think you could always drive your second zone via the analog outputs.

I give a flower. I occasionally stream Pandora to my SBs. I followed RokuLyndon's instructions, and I had to set a Preset with the specific IP address of the computer running Pandora (not its computer name) and the mms protocol for it to work, i.e., mms://192.168.1.46:8080 I have an M1000 and a few ...

Re: Connect Sb to WiFi vista laptop dirrectly

Hi, Is it possible to connect SB directly to a wifi laptop running vista (no router) ? You should be able to use Windows' built-in Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to allow your computer to function as a router and a DHCP server so that the SB can receive an address and be networked with the compu...

RokuLyndon,

Would it be possible for you to post a complete changelog that provides details about all the fixes and enhancements since 3.0.44?

Thank you.

It's ~12K items for a single list where you will run into problems. When I choose "Browse Songs", it loads 28,590 titles in one list, and I don't have problems. These titles are contained within 9 subdirectories under a main directory I call "Music". It's not a playlist; it's ju...

other members have reported that the Soundbridge may 'max out' at about 12000 titles. FWIW, I routinely browse a collection of over 28,500 titles with my M1000 and M1001 from a Firefly server. I have not tried this number with iTunes or WMC. Could it also be related to the total number of character...

Re: At what price difference should I get a m1001?

The cheapest place I can find a m1000 is here: http://www.cowboom.com/store/productDetails.cfm?contentID=98740 for $67 The description at the site says that the unit comes with a 1/8 inch (3.5mm) to rca cable; this would imply that the unit is an M1001, since the M1000 did not have a 1/8 inch jack....

Re: M1000 w/ Time Capsule + Apple TV ?

Any simple suggestions for getting my M1000 to work with a Time Capsule router? I had an issue where my M1000 would not see my Firefly server (but WOULD see iTunes server), whereas my M1001 would see both. Turned out that the M1000 required not only WEP, but also Open System (NOT Shared Key). So ma...

I don't have a TwonkyMedia server, but I do have an old Pentium II -333 Mhz laptop with 320MB of RAM running the Firefly Media Server (SVN-1586 build) on Win2000. I also like to shuffle my entire collection, and I remember noticing how much longer iTunes took to load my collection to the M1001 befor...
