Endless,

Awesome! Thanks in advance.

I was just looking through my HD Homerun downloads folder I created and trying to remember what version of the firmware worked so I could email it to ddl. (the firmwares are pretty small)

I guess we can wait a day or two now. :)

I actually aren't running either one yet. Before I went to the trouble of installing it I wanted to see if Mplay could use the results to skip commercials. I use 3 roku's to watch recorded sd and hd from sage and it would be very cool if it did... Seems that each has there own preference. According...

If using comskip utility, you may also want to consider comskip monitor. It will monitor your video directories and process the video files as they are recorded. See link below for more info on comskip monitor. I think I am going to give another program a go that people seem to have even more succe...

I won't know without seeing one of the .edl files. Can you email me one? If they store the cuts as byte offsets, then it should be possible. If it just records the frame number, then it's much less likely, because we don't have access to that information via the Cascade API. TheEndless If you need/...

Re: Commercial Skip?

Wondering if it would be possible for MPlay to be able to read commercial skip flags from some of the commercial skip programs out there? For example videoredo, or sagetv that has built in commercial skip or other 3rd part commercial skip plugins. I could send a samples that have been processed by ...

With all of the firmware and libhdhomerun updates lately, I'm pretty much having to start over from scratch. The good news is that the majority of the channel scan is now done in the firmware, so it should be much faster. The bad news about that is that I spent nearly a full week on writing that co...

Any news on a new version of TVPlay? For some reason it doesn't seem to like the 12/17 firmware. At least it isn't writing out a new channels.tv file when doing a scan. Actually that's only partially true. It does generate the blank channels.tv file with all the headers (Display name etc) saying wha...

Ahh ok, thanks. I get it, no UI, it just goes to the output from the HDHR and allows you to change channels. :? Why the :?? Were you expecting something else? TheEndless I wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't know if there was some type of onscreen UI for setup of channels (QAM/OTA/etc) and any opt...

There's nothing to take a screenshot of. It's literally just live TV streamed to the PhotoBridge, with the ability to change channels. There isn't really any UI at the moment. TheEndless Ahh ok, thanks. I get it, no UI, it just goes to the output from the HDHR and allows you to change channels. :?

Yup. That's our point. You could connect this to your incoming cable line (or antenna feed) and with a proper application on the Roku you could "tune" it and watch live TV on your Roku. Do they allow you to use such language ("live tv") on this forum. Sorry son, but that's just ...

Re: Two small requests...

TheEndless. A couple of small requests.... 1-Could there be one view that could display more text? I have figured out a way to have my sage recordings automatically create txt files with the recording data in it as they are recorded. But there is more data there than can be displayed in the current...

that product has the same flaw most do - you need to be running your PC to supply it content. If I'm going to do that, I might as well run an HTPC. All of my content comes off lightweight NAS devices. I don't know how much it's changed in the last 11 months or so, but I saw that DMP3000 at the Home...

Count me in! I've got a Roku sitting on the shelf right now. I've used it in the past to view Sage recordings from my Sage machine, but without the Sage UI, or at the very least the ability to see show descriptions, etc it just wasn't a "pleasant" experience. When you have literally hundreds of reco...
