Also, try setting your RTS down to below 1024. I had the same problem with it hogging all the bandwidth and I changed my RTS down to 512 on the router and that fixed everything. Just something to try.

They are trying to prevent long load times and rebuffers, so they error on the side of caution. Frankly, if it took 15 minutes to buffer 1-2 minutes of video, you were having a problem. It just might be that during that time the problem cleared up and never had to rebuffer.

For the 3rd time- 720p IS HD. Look at Walmart.. Look at Best Buy.. Look at Circuit City.. 720P TV's are HDTV's. They broadcast HD signals, and most HD channels have a 720P maximum output as well- NOT 1080i or 1080p. So stop bitching at Roku for "only" sticking for 720P right now- for a $1...

As with what Teddman said, let me also add that your PC has a hard drive in it and it allows for better buffering. If you stop the movie and just sit there, it will eventually buffer the entire movie to your hard drive. The roku box only has 64 meg of ram (I believe that is the number) for buffering...
