Re: Using Registry for Last played position

Thanks. I expect that won't be enough to store everything. I suppose I could limit it to the last 10 or so movies watched. I really want to avoid any kind of external dependency. You could probably store a hash of the movie url instead of the complete url to save some space. Also, I think you have ...

Feel free to clone, fork, contribute, etc. In its current form it is functional, you can play video with it and add cover art files and TV show descriptions. This version is a radical departure from...

This rewrite is focusing on minimal server dependencies (in other words all you need is a http server with range header support and directory listing s...

Same here. Seems to be a total failure of Netflix. Amazon, etc. work just fine.

Re: Home video streaming

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

I would expect that you could set audio interleave with handbrake -- it can do everything else, but I haven't looked yet.

Re: netflix broken tonight?

Waving me too. A couple of tries it was getting the queue images, now it just has the selection outline and no images. I did the update a few days ago, so that isn't the reason.

Re: New feature: Display Incoming call on TV screen

I'd recommend NOT using the SIP protocol. Make it something more widely useful by adding a simple notification UDP port. Send it a UDP packet with message and an expiration time. This then gives you the flexibility to do things like catch callerid (non-voip) with an old modem and send the announceme...

Re: Execute Telnet Remote control commands in HTML or Python

It doesn't actually need to be a telnet connection. A basic socket connection should work just fine. HTML cannot do it, but if you have PHP on your web server it can, as well as Python.

Nope, undead. Oh, hmm. Maybe that's not what you meant
