alarm speakers

Hi,

What speakers are you using when the alarm function is used? I would assume that the speakers power themselves on and off based on a signal being present or not. Is that the case?

thanks,

FWIW, the Roku will respond to remote commands that will power on the unit if currently off and tune to any of the 16 presets. If you have a universal remote that you can enter the codes, the Roku will act on them. I have a URC-8910 and have all 16 presets available with a single button press. This ...

The URC code is 1828, MISC. If that is not in your remote, I would guess not, some of their remotes can be upgraded over the phone. Actually the header pins under the battery cover are completely amazing. Do a search for JP1. There is software available that will really unlock the potential of the r...

All for One Remotes support it. See http://www.rokulabs.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10324. The URC remotes are available for less than $30.

Any of these functions can be used by almost any key on the remote by using the keymover ...

I don't think the Linkstation built in streamer works with the Soundbridge. But several other options are available. Twonkyvision, mt-daap, and slimserver all can be made to run on the Linkstation.

I'm using a URC-8910 which is an upgradeable remote. I called One For All (http://www.ofausa.com/) and was able to download an upgrade for the Soundbridge over the phone. The default program they have does not cover all of the keys so I had to figure out the EFCs and use the keymove feature of the r...
