Re: Who needs a VEVO app when you can "bleess" VEVO to your

Using my ipod touch to play any video I find on the web on my Roku? I think I'll have to give that a try next weekend, sounds worth $3. Is it easy to use with multiple Rokus? It looks like I'd have to change the ip address in the settings to switch between Rokus. Also, I don't understand the 'or lat...

Re: Processor Differences?

The Roku LT and the Roku 2's use the same processor. Per the developer docs, the latest version of the Roku LT does not have the same processor as the Roku 2 models. Roku LT "2400X" started with the same ARM chip as Roku 2 models, but transitioned to the MIPS chip with model "2450X&q...

Also note that it was 2Gbit FLASH, not 2GByte FLASH. So the Roku HD has;

2Gbit = 256MByte

Which is same as some prior models.

Well spotted, thanks

Re: Processor Differences?

Yes, but whether it makes any difference, I don't know. The Roku LT and the Roku 2's use the same processor. The newest Roku HD (2500R) uses a different processor. Engadget had a chart comparing the technical details of the LT vs the Roku 2's ( from left to right they are Roku 2 HD, Roku 2 XD, Roku ...

Re: Question

When I called Netflix once I asked about this and they said they had raised the limit on numbers of devices to some number like 50. 50 is the number of devices you can have registered to one account, not the number of simultaneous streams http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/06/netflix-pushes-max-number...

Vudu coming this week, or misprint?

From the upcoming Walmart ad (June 10th - 17th), I'm going to guess it's a misprint, but you'd think Walmart would know what devices support Vudu right?

Yes, it's actually the Roku that's farthest from the router. I hadn't realized yours works fine with the bluetooth remote when hardwired, that's really bizarre.

Re: roksbox -Streaming Local Media Channel Available for Tes

The interference seems to occur when I am moving the bluetooth remote. It seems the motion tracking remains on when using Roksbox. Could it be that the motion tracking can be disabled when using a specific program like Roksbox? Maybe that would solve the problem. Then again, if I am the only one th...

Is he an expat living in the U.S.? Maybe he should ask how to get iPlayer for BBC rather than be a snot. I'm sure some of us could tell him how to do that. Of course that costs more than the objectionable $8.00 a month he is complaining about. How do you get iPlayer on a US Roku? or are you saying ...

Re: Synology DS212j and Roku XDS?

I use a DS111 to stream movies/music/photos to my Rokus using the Roksbox channel. There are 3 steps to set things up on the NAS: 1) Click enable web station checkbox in web services 2) Create a .htaccess file to enable directory listing 3) Create symbolic links to point to your media (you might not...
