Re: WealthTV Picture Quality Enhancements - Report Issues He

Watched about 30 minutes today with 4 star quality on a wired connection. No dropouts.

I will report back about reliability as soon as I have a longer session.

Re: WealthTV Picture Quality Enhancements - Report Issues He

Happy to hear about the extended VOD selection as I was one of the users requesting it. I would also love to see the VOD content rotate monthly or bimonthly. I still can't get a reliable stream on 24/7 though. It has improved to the point that I can almost watch 3 stars but it still stops at about 2...

Re: "Official" USB channel discussion

It would be great if you guys would offer DTS and Dolby conversion for those that are willing to pay the licensing fee (perhaps through channel store somehow?)

Unless I am mistaken and this is a hardware limitation and not a cost of license problem?

Wired connection 5MBps here. No problem with any other services keeping a high quality stream except Wealthtv.

Re: WealthTV Picture Quality Enhancements - Report Issues He

I got 4 stars for a bit tonight. I wouldn't call it "HD" but it looked pretty good. However it quit working shortly after. I feel ripped off for this monthly subscription since it hasn't been very functional. I might have seen 30-45 mins of content total. They have really dropped the ball ...

Re: "Official" USB channel discussion

MKV files are pretty picky. Only half of them play and the other half keep showing a "loading" screen over and over again. Shame that Dolby and DTS is only available on pass through as well. I'm sure that is going to remain a problem since it is probably a licensing problem. Glad to see mo...

Re: Insufficient Storage - ROKU

I've had the same problem on my XDS and my XD. I had to remove about 6 or 7 channels just to add MOG. I certainly couldn't have 70 channels as someone suggested. My XDS maxed out at closer to 35-40. Thankfully there weren't that many worth keeping so it isn't really a problem yet. If some more good ...

Re: Which paid channels do you keep?

That is what I thought. The price of admission seems too high for the crap that I see on the website. I thought perhaps there was better stuff once you subbed but if not then it is a definite "no".

Re: Wealthtv

The content seems pretty good to me. Sort of like travel channel/pbs/food network mash up. It doesn't have enough at the moment to keep me locked in though and it is certainly too buggy for primetime.

Which paid channels do you keep?

I currently have: Netflix - This one will stay unless something changes drastically with the service. Hulu Plus - On a 3 month free trial from my blu-ray player but I like the 720p quality even if the selection is limited. I'm undecided as of yet. Amazon VOD - I use it off and on to fill gaps from o...

Wealthtv

I subscribed this morning. I think the quality of the content warrants the monthly price however I have a couple concerns. First, the streaming on the live channel has significant artifacts during playback. Second, the live channel suffers from frequent and sometimes excessive re-buffering...I can't...
