Lyndon:

When did the extended 2-year warranty program start? This is the first I've heard of this. Does the warranty provide refunds for those of us who, not knowing about this extension, recently paid for third-party repairs on our radios?

Both of these urls are working for me as Windows Media Streams on my computer, and they work on my Roku as well. I've just submitted the station into RadioRoku's database for you too. Enjoy!

All of these are quite valid points. In considering what to do, my particular interests/concerns are as follows (probably in this order): 1 - Regarding sound quality, the VTech IS9181 has two 3W front speakers and a 10W subwoofer and therefore might sound as good as my R1000. The Sangean WFR-1 and S...

I'm in the same boat - kind of "on the fence" about whether to get my PSU repaired or get something else. I noticed that VTech also has their new IS9181 internet radio out: http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/06/vtech-plunges-into-home-audio-market-with-is9181-wifi-radio http://www.vtechphones...

I've been looking for a player to stream WMV (mostly) from the internet directly to my HDTV without turning on the computer at all. These are mostly in the nature of hometown local news broadcasts/sports reports that are available on tv stations' websites, where the url remains constant on a day-to-...

Hi All: Had an odd occurrence with one of my Soundbridge Radios today. I had been out of the house for a while and had not used this particular radio at all since the day before. When I returned home today (nobody was here in the interim), the radio was powered on and the display read "English&...

This has happened to me too, on all three of my Rokus (M1001 and R1000), but never to any two at the same time (odd...). One unit in one room will have some weird time and date, while the other two are fine. My router is on all the time as well. Rebooting the unit always corrects the problem immedia...

I know that my cell phone (Palm Treo) recognizes only the SD format, and not the SDHC format. So I'm limited to up to the 4GB SD size/format on my phone (I use a Transcend 150X 4GB SD (non-HC)). Pulling that SD card from my phone, it works in my Roku radio just fine. Wouldn't surprise me if our Roku...

Can we get rtmp streams on our Rokus?

Hi All: Just found a few new online stations with an rtmp stream format I didn't recognize. I haven't been able to decipher any familiar stream url using snooper either, so I thought I'd ask here. WINK 1240 AM Fort Myers, FL USA website: http://www.winkwnog.com language: English format: Talk audio f...

How to edit call letters/frequency/format only?

Hi All: Noticed a few stations in the Roku database that have recently changed just their call letters, or frequency or format, but all other information, including the stream url, remains the same. The sticky thread about entering changes for existing stations seems to concern changes to the stream...

Just thought of another option - the top-level browse menu could be supplemented (instead of entirely replaced) to include both the present "USA" and right below it a new menu called "USA By State." Selecting the "USA By State" would then bring up the state-by-state men...

Hi All: I suppose this is my near-annual bump suggesting browsing for stations by U.S. states directly using the SoundBridge remote. Once my current additions/edits are approved, I believe that all Delaware stations that currently broadcast online are in the Radio Roku database (approx. 25 stations).
