Just a bump to inquire whether this station is now receivable on our SoundBridges. The previous audio feed url doesn't seem to work anymore; I can only play it on my computer through the following page link:

Just wondering...

Anyone interested in divvying up USA entries by state?

Hi All: I've been trying to add and supplement station entries (mostly for US broadcast stations) in the Radio Roku database ever since I got my first Roku unit, but I notice that there are literally thousands of additional stations available online (many of these in the US) that aren't yet in the R...

Forgot to mention one more thing. The old, obsolete audio urls for these Clear Channel-owned stations tend to all be in the same general format, such as: http://a1562.l2012743115.c20127.g.lm.akamaistream.net/D/1562/20127/v0001/reflector:43115 If it includes this "akamaistream.net" part in ...

I believe that the standard format audio url on our Rokus for all of these Clear Channel-owned stations (for USA listening only) is now: http://[stationwebsite]/cc-common/streaming_new For example, KOA 850 AM Denver, CO [USA Only] is already in the Radio Roku database with the audio url: http://www....

I think it just needs to be entered into the database: WBBR 1130 AM New York, NY http://www.bloomberg.com/tvradio/radio (website) http://www.bloomberg.com/streams/audio/radio_live_a.asx (audio stream) Not at home right now to try this stream on my Soundbridge, but I don't see any reason why it would...

I understand that some people are indeed choosing to run two separate networks simultaneously, as mas advises in his #3 option. Those who have older routers that might be only WEP-capable and have been run in "mixed b/g" mode for both the Rokus and the computer(s) (and supposedly therefore...

One more thing. Only cause I can think of (for mine at least) is that I have my router set to assign a new rotating IP address every day (among various other possible settings). Occasionally, my laptop takes a while to connect with my router (you can see the connection icon going back and forth as i...

Mine did this yesterday. Walked up to it late yesterday evening (after not having turned it on for a few days since I wasn't at home much) and the display read sometime around 4:00 am on some day in December 2007, two months from now. I rebooted/restarted and it corrected itself. It's done this once...

This thread is suggesting browsing by U.S. states (and perhaps cities as well) using the "Browse Locations" feature on the Soundbridge itself (using only the SB remote), as opposed to on Radio Roku through the computer, right? If so, I agree, as scrolling through the U.S. listing on the So...

Consistency is definitely important, so that people can find stations of interest quickly and conveniently. The settled format for stations in the Roku database appears to be WXKS 107.9 FM Boston, MA (without the dash). One reason for eliminating the dash, and the extra spaces around it, is to ident...

KBIG is one of the Clear Channel-owned stations that recently switched their streaming protocol to a flash-based player that is currently incompatible with our SoundBridges.

U.S. geographical listing

I think we're probably getting to the point where the U.S. geographical listing needs to be divided up by state. As more stations get added into the database, it's taking longer and longer to scroll through all the U.S. stations or through the K's and W's separately during general browsing.
