I don't believe that WOOD will work on our Soundbridges for now. If I remember correctly, this was one of the Clear Channel-owned stations that recently switched their streaming protocol to a proprietary popup player with a "digital key" that only works on a computer.

The previous url (http://tuner1.dc1.sonixtream.com/playlists/kyw1060/kyw1060KWYAM.asx) became obsolete when all CBS stations (including KYW) changed their streaming protocol to "Stream The World." I think you might have to upgrade to the 3.0 version of the Roku firmware to receive the new ...

Don't have anything to offer about the repeater, but was wondering if you had considered adding a directional antenna to your Buffalo router, directed toward the faraway Soundbridge. They're supposed to boost the signal directionally quite nicely...

The Roku database has audio feed urls for both WWTC 1280 and KYCR 1570 in the entry for WWTC. But it also appears that the stations themselves are having their own confusion with the internet audio feed urls. This url - mms://69.80.226.199/wwtc-am - displays "WWTC 1280 The Patriot" on my W...

Some stations must simply hide/mask their internet audio urls well enough that the snooper apparently cannot detect them. There are times when I've run the snooper for quite a while and nothing comes up.

As of right now, the following urls are working on my computer: http://nyc03.egihosting.com/wor mms://nyc03.egihosting.com/wor Not at home to check right now, but one or both should probably work on our Soundbridges as well. When I tried these links yesterday (at a different time of the day), they d...

Usually, I check a few of the other directory sites first, like: http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pagestate.asp http://www.mikesradioworld.com http://www.billsparks.org http://streamingradioguide.com/radio-station-list-by-state.php? Since these feed urls tend to change a lot, oftentimes, at least one ...

The flash streams are like all the CBS "Stream The World" streams that use their proprietary pop-up flash player. Our Rokus are not capable of playing them, although CBS does provide alternate Windows-Media streams that are Roku-compatible.

I used a Transcend 150x 4GB SD (not SDHC) card for the first time the other night in my Soundbridge Radio. The SB recognized and played all songs on the card just fine, although it didn't recognize the time/duration of the songs at all. The time bar was empty and didn't progress at all during song p...

BABES502, the reason you didn't have any trouble with WRVA before is because they used to use a single url address for the station's audio stream. Once this url was programmed into the Radio Roku database (or programmed in as a preset on your Soundbridge), you could always listen to WRVA on your Sou...

One more thing - got a chuckle out of the quote from the KFI webmaster: "The purpose of secure streaming is to protect the intellectual property by prohibiting direct linking to the stream publishing url." What a bunch of stuff - the result is the same, whether you have to log in to access...
